Is it possible to make your butt bigger?

Can I make mine bigger by exercising? Does it actually work?

 

Mine is big but not as in being round, it's not flat either, but it's big as in width(?)...

 

Anyway some tell me if I have round butt since it's big in width it will make me look fat, but I want to make it a little bigger at least... Is it possible?

 

What can I do?

What, there are padded panties??

Its hard to target where the fat goes with the extra calories. You will be much better off doing squats & leg curls at the gym.

Squats, lunges & deadlifts. Also do that exercise that was on that Eric Prydz video (where they thrust their - ahem - genital regions upwards into the air).

 

I always did squats when I was younger, and ended up with a rather large, muscular bum. I had girls actually say to me they "wish they had a butt as big as mine" - which at the time, I didn't really take as a compliment.....

Squats. Squats and more squats.

 

My arse has lifted significantly and has gotten bigger, but not too big, just round. It now pops and bounces no matter what I'm wearing and I like it

train your legs twice a day (once every 3-4 days) - squats, deadlifts, leg curls and leg press

Do not train it everyday, my bad and yes squats and deadlifts will make your butt, hips and legs look way way way better. Make sure you eat enough to gain some muscle

If you mean why not more days, it means you have to wait for your muscles to recuperate. Over-training can cause injury and muscle fatigue.

Just about to say the same... Fat transfer to the bum. That is, if you don't have enough fat on your bum to make a good go at building muscle through squats... This way if you gain weight you won't have to worry about it going to the stomach. You could eat all the donuts you want! Yay! :)

 

Side note: I do agree with others that exercise is the best way, don't get me wrong. A wiser investment, too.

No that's crazy and your body won't recover in time

 

 

 

Just train your lower body twice a week with good intensity. Make sure you slowly increase your intensity with each workout or you'll wake up the next day feeling very very

 

 

 

You should see big results within 3-6 months if you train hard enough

I've been working out for 6 years, 3-6 months is a very short period of time for results :p

 

 

 

Just make sure you work out with good form and with a ton of effort. Those are the 2 most important things

 

 

 

In terms of form - you want it to be smooth and natural - make sure you lift heavy enough where it's at least somewhat challenging. Don't do 300 reps of 5 LBs. It's gotta be challenging

Make sure you train hard and eat enough food (try to eat as much protein as possible), I can't emphasize this enough

If you really hit squats and deadlifts hard, you shouldn't be able to do more than once a week. My leg day consists of only 5 sets squats, 5 sets deadlifts, and 5 sets standing calf raises, and that's it. It takes me till the next week before I am ready to do legs again, and usually about that long for the pain and soreness goes away. Muscles don't get stronger from lifting, lifting actually breaks down muscle. Muscles get stronger from the healing back stronger in the rest period that comes after lifting. If you aren't getting enough rest, then you don't give the muscles a chance to heal stronger.

This is also true, depending on the person

 

 

 

 

Without, I would tell you to listen to your body. Just train your legs very hard and then train them again when you feel the soreness has gone away completely. For most people, it's either once a week or twice a week. Don't ever do more than that

Everyone's body is different OP, give it a go, if it's too much you will know within a couple of weeks. I agree that it needs to be challenging enough

 

Also on soreness: it's because a lot of people - especially men! - don't stretch enough. Soreness is not an indication of how hard you train, it's an indication that you haven't been looking after your muscles well enough. If you stretch OP you will be able to recover faster and do more. Give it a go and experiment. Get to know the limits of your body, we are probably older than you are :p
