whatsaguy2do
After 3.5 yrs of dating should a person propose? I'm 26 she's 24 and for the past month all she has talked about is marriage. I'm not too sure about that though. All she says is I'm not for from 30 and I need to be married. I can't think of any cons to it I just don't want to be married. I guess what i'm asking is there a point where you waited too long?
Debster
You both still have tons of time before you are 30, but I do know what she means. However, marriage is a choice, it is not something that should be done just because you've been together a long time or are pushing 30. The key reasons, IMO, for getting married is: #1: You are in love with this person, #2: Have the same values and goals, #3: Respect and trust each other, #4: Are physically attracted and compatible sexually #5: Want to spend the rest of your life with them #6: Want them to be the father/mother of your children #7: Want to make a formal commitment in front of friends and family Is this what you want?
