IST Posted July 21, 2012 Share Posted July 21, 2012 Going to see the Dark Knight Rises tonight, know my ex is going to be there. ( We bought the tickets a month ago, but went NC in between then and now) I'm excited to see her, but I feel like I'm building it up in my head, going in with unrealistic expectations. The tentative plan right now is to go in, be confident, say hello to her and some friends who are also going (perhaps chatting with the friends a bit) and gauging her reaction. I keep hoping that maybe she'll react differently, but I can't help but think she'll just say "Hi" coldly and then glare at me. I know I'm not ready to be friends, and I know she doesn't want anything more again so I don't know what I'm expecting really. I'm just hoping for a smile from her. I guess wish me luck.
