ThaWholigan
The issue is it's just not the women who age badly, men do too...Most of my coworkers don't look young or even attractive by any means yet they judge women their own age. Like I said, I don't let them get away with saying stuff like that easily The men are the worst. Too much battered fish and chips, not enough yam and plantain - my dad always says. No wonder the women let themselves go and don't wanna f*ck their husbands anymore. Live for gossip and smoke B&H . I would go on, but then we'd be talking about nutrition and all that ish. There's something about making a woman feel sexy that........actually motivates and makes them look sexy
ThaWholigan
*Scratches head* I look absolutely nothing like that character. Maybe you're smoking the green to stay young too? :-P In your pics, you do kinda look like Nancy . Plus she's little and argues a lot- she's you . Maybe you dress differently from the character, but still you do look a little like her.

ThaWholigan
So true. When a man makes me feel sexy, I try to be even sexier for him every time I see him, it really does motivate me. It's a skill. The man who knows how to do this will fare slightly better than those who don't. One of the many myriad of personal attractive traits most guys could stand to learn. Likewise, a woman's gotta return the favor - although less with words ....... Like I said earlier as well, if you have a long-term GF and you know how to make her feel that way, and feel good about you, then when she hits like 33-36, she's going to look "SMASHING" (imagine me saying that like an old British fart ). Yeah......

The only way we look alike is that we are both brunette, and are recognizable as human females. Better take a small break from the computer, your eyes seem to be playing tricks on you. mesmerized
Um... cause I am? Newsflash, I am 5'0" and 123ish pounds. That makes me, by BMI standards.... fat. Ta-da. ... Do you not understand what average is? If the majority of women are overweight, than the average woman... is overweight. A woman who is "thin" is in the minority, thus, not the average woman. People, help me out, am I just not doing a good job of explaining this or is he just being dense on purpose? He is not being dense, you two are looking at it differently...You just said being a certain BMI makes you fat not that being bigger than the "average" person makes you fat. Perhaps he is looking at it with a health scale such as BMI while you're looking at it based on the real average numbers in your country.
mesmerized
average means average shape/average looks again I go back to my previous point, why do you care about fat chicks when you're not fat yourself? I don't know about her but a loot of men tell me I have a sexy body and I still feel like I would be better off if I was a slim/thin girl.

ThaWholigan
Why is it always the curvy girls who want to be slim and shapeless? . I remember when Jessica Alba was in Dark Angel, she was amazing. Then she got skinny and never looked as hot. It wasn't even the age, it was that she hated her curves and got skinny and slim.

brahmabull117
. But being "thin" nowadays seem to just simply be considered more attractive. Who knows, this might change in future. It's not our fault that you pay more attention to what the fashion industry tells you is attractive (being extremely thin) than what actual real men find attractive (which is generally speaking lots of curves while being in reasonably good shape) You're not going to be dating the fashion designers who tell you that you need to be a size O, you'll be dating those men who tell you that you look good. You realize that right?

Mme. Chaucer
Thats only because they settle out of lack for younger options, but any woman here can be assured that if that man had a chance to be with that 20 year old hot version of that woman, he would trade her in in a heartbeat. I really think you might want to hang around with some different guys. Evidently you only know douchebags. There are plenty of men who are as good as you or I. Some even better. mesmerized
I don't think she listens to the fashion magazines, likely where she lives she sees all these guys fawning over the skinny girls 24/7. More time, I don't see it much, but in certain areas I go to in London, I see it where they fawn over the skinny/thin girls. Likely she sees that and thinks that men are paying her lip service. I don't play that sh*t, I'll be paying a different kind of lip service to let them know what I think. Skinny doesn't do it for me..... Exactly. I find that it actually depends on the culture the men are from. But nowadays, due to the world being all connected, the beauty standards are slowly changing everywhere and are getting closer to the western standards.
ThaWholigan
Exactly. I find that it actually depends on the culture the men are from. But nowadays, due to the world being all connected, the beauty standards are slowly changing everywhere and are getting closer to the western standards. I think you're onto something, but there is still a semblance of diversity. For me, I come from a culture that loves the curvy woman. I grew up with "big booty hip hop divas" like Buffie the Body and Esther Baxter on my wall - and they weren't skinny women. I think it's more a black thing with me though generally. My white friends like them more slim. Back in the day, they all liked Jakki Degg. She's quite nice, but still not what I would go for. Generally, I think it's environment and demographic. You would fit right in at North London where my brothers live, you'd be circled by black guys every time you went out
Author verhrzn
Why? Thin is not hot. Curvy is always the way forward . No, curvy in the right PLACES. Guys seem to love a girl who has generous hips and bust... but she better have a small waist. The classic hourglass. But unfortunately, the body "shape" is decided by bone structure, not by weight.... For example, no matter how thin I get I will never have a small waist because of the way my rib cage is designed. And I'll never have "dat ass" because my hips just aren't that wide. So, yeah, curvy is "hot," but only if the curves are in the right places and stack the right ways. I doubt many men would find the "small bust, no defined waist, large hips, flat ass" body shape appealing, for example. What I've observed is that the hourglass look is coveted most, followed by the "thin" look, because when you're thin, you at least have a small waist. Me myself, I have an average bust, no defined waist, and narrow hips, so I don't have the "correct" curves. Add chub on top of that, and it's very undesirable.
123321
I hear very often-on forums, from comments said in the media and by guys around me (coworkers, friends, strangers)-that women are at "their best" in their early 20's, and by 30 have reached their peak and are no longer viable in the dating world. Depends on her relationship goals, but a lot of women expect to be able to do whatever they like and then sometime around 35 find a family minded guy and have a kid or two. That is in my opinion a bad plan. A sane family minded guy is going to want healthy kids and some time as a couple. If she's just looking to get married and have a life partner, sure why not? But a lot of women that age get the baby rabies.

McGuffin
Uh.... me in a dress at a party, me in a dress I sewed, me in two of my cosplay outfits. I'm.... pretty sure I'm having fun in them? But hey, at least it's confirmed that it's not my attitude. Finally, validation!! Sometimes I wish I could fly some of the posters out to my city and have them just follow me around for a few days to actually see some of this stuff in person. Well, when I did try online dating briefly, I got a bunch of messages from douche guys who didn't read my profile, so if you truly are getting no messages at all, it has to be your photos. Maybe it is the cosplay photos. I don't know why they would be a problem unless the OLD world is really is full of lamo guys. In my experience, it was. Maybe it's not the right place for you to meet someone. But I suppose you could always take them off and see if it changes just for experimentation.
ThaWholigan
I would fail all of those exams miserably. Powerlifting has destroyed my body. Well, from my limited knowledge, it's not about failing really. It's about coming up with a proper functional fitness plan tailor to get the body you want. Like me, personally, I want perfect balance of speed, strength, power, flexibility, agility, stamina and endurance. So I would take those and see where I can improve my nutritional intake, what exercises to do, functional and compound, and how to make myself flexible, agile and quick. I'd like to be able to jump high as well - parkour intrigues me .....
