Kizzyfur
Originally posted by YellowLioness Now we'll get to the most important thing, which is your post. I believe in God, but not organized religion. This includes any and all organized religion: Baptists (what i was raised, southern baptist at that :-O), catholics, wiccans, whatever. I take in the doctorin, but I sort of fit them into my little world structure. lol. I think God is everything, everyone, all the time. God is space, time, stars, dirt. You name it. WE all are part of God. I believe that when we die that we become part of God again, except for some lost souls that for some reason are stuck in this demension. I think that we are here to learn life's lessons, and that we all have a life map that we plan out before we start our lives. I think that your conscience is directly related to that, (like when you get that gut feelings you're wrong, you're going against your life map) Souls are recycled so they can learn many lessons through many life times. I think many souls are very old, while some are very young. I believe that souls are constantly being created or "born" by God. I believe in angels and demons. I believe in ghosts. I also believe that God is in science, and that science just promotes how wonderful and amazing that God truly is. Well, there are my two cents... lol. maybe more like four cents, lol. ;-) I couldn't have put it better myself.

Author packersgirl
I don't fear death. I fear dying. I mean... truthfully, with out trying to sound suicidal, I can't wait to be part of God again! I agree! I'm not afraid to die, because I know when I do I'll be with God in heaven. I am a little worried about how I'm going to die though. I know I deserve to die a horrible, painful death... but I don't want that! No one does! Hopefully, Lord willing, I'll die a peaceful death in my bed with my husband holding my hand at the age of 82.. or something like that I know the odds are against that, but it doesn't hurt to hope! jazzin7
I just finished a book called "Heaven is so Real" by Choo Thomas. It can really change the way you look at things. She was used to write this book, by Jesus himself. He came to take her to Heaven several times, and also showed her Hell twice. She even saw her parents in hell, and several other family members. They had no religion and did not know Jesus, and even though they were good people in life, it does not matter. If you don't know Jesus you will go to Hell forever.
Author packersgirl
Jazzin, I agree... Jesus is the only way to heaven! Sounds like a good book, perhaps I'll read it.
YellowLioness
I had a very long battle with my spirituality. Growing up in a very strict, religious atmosphere did not breed independent thinking. However, whatever the atmosphere, I just couldn't seem to fit myself into the box of orgainized religion. So, I just sort of thought on it for a long time (like seven years... almost hating God for a while (never truly hating him, just hating myself and blaming him), and decided that I would some how have to incorporate all the things I believed in into some kind of docterine. So, what I told you was the result of that. I mean... I love God, I pray, I read the bible... I just pick and choose the things that really hit home to me, and I believe in those things. To be honest, I feel such guilt sometimes for not fitting into the box that seemed to fit my dad, mom, and grandparents. But, when you don't fit, you don't fit. I have since met people who share my similar thoughts on it, and it is a comfort every time I've talked to people who are in a similar spiritual situation. Whatever belief system that I have, I still take comfort in God. :-)

Fayebelle
I think a lot of us go thru a period of fear, anger, and uncertainty on our quest ot find faith. But God ALWAYS believes in us. I think Hell is a complete absence of God. When we go thru those difficult times we often wonder where God is and feel as though we are living in Hell and He isn't helping. Well- you are. He can't help unless you let him. Learning to trust and love God at all times can be difficult. But once you do- He steps right in and you start seeing just how many blessings and miracles he gives each of us everyday.

YellowLioness
I woke up this morning with a strange dream (about work, darn it!) lol, and then, of course, had to sort of remember that it was just a dream, but then it hit me that I had to get out of my nice warm covers and go to work. (pouts needlessly) So, I dream about work, I work all day... lol. I may as well set up a tent. at least I would have all of you lovely people at LoveShack to keep me company :-) lol. At least I have a nice office to work for, and I make decent money, and I'm getting good experience. And we do have carpet incase I ever get that tent.... jk Lookin' on the sunny side... lol. Ah well, God gives us opportunities, it's up to us to jump on 'em. ANYWAY, (ramble ramble ramble) i as well am doing as little as i can today, as well Fayebelle. (sorry for the rhyme. I do it some of the time. oh my... someone stop me) Mwahahahahahahahah.... haha. ha ha. ...ha. alrighty.

Fayebelle
I sell medical equipment and play on the internet. Luckily my boss pays me for both.
YellowLioness
I work for a company that FIXES medical equipment! How strange! :-) No kidding. I sit here all day, write out parts orders, take service calls... wait, this isn't a resume posting. lol. Well, you get the idea. I get paid to do this. That's why I'm on here so much, there's REALLY not that much to do (except when I ship packages, work with the minutes book, or whatever it is that I do. lol.
YellowLioness
Oh yeah...we sell the stuff too, kind of. We don't MAKE the equipment, we just go in, see what the hospitals need, find them the best price, and sell it to them.
Fayebelle
Good Thing we both spend so much time on LS or we might work each other out of a job. LOL
YellowLioness
LOL. Wow, crazy crazy crazy you can have my job, if you want it. lol. :-P ;-) you can have my cats, too. they got into my herb garden last night. you wouldn't believe the mess that two 3 month old kittens can create with 5 pots of dirt and large amounts of chocolate mint, cat nip, oregano, and sage. Well... maybe you can and that's why you don't have cats... hmmm Maybe i'll just take some of these lovely bunnies home with me.
Author packersgirl
Haha... cats are the devil! Well, at least they are to me. I'm highly allergic to them. They trigger my asthma and send me to the hospital. Devil creatures...
YellowLioness
Aww! :-) Well, they are destructive, and it IS really strange when they stare at you for no reason for long periods of time... But, I dearly love 'em. we rescued both from the pound. Both are furry. We have a gray one and an orange one. (Gray kitty= Naked, Orange kitty= Orange) lol. Wil and I get tired of creativity every once in a while. lol. They're both really cute. They both like to cuddle and play with those little balls that jingle. :-) Lol. I'm insane, I know. I've never reallly been a dog person: they've always scared me because they're larger pets. I'm always afraid one will bite me. you have pets, Packersgirl?
