cal state degree vs UC degree for comp. eng.

I'm planning on getting a degree in computer engineering, but I'm still in a communiy college. Ill be applying to transfer this sept., but I'm wondering if there's a difference between a cal state degree and a UC degree. My future plan is to become a software engineer first, but eventually become a sales engineer.

 

Is there a difference between the 2? Or it doesn't matter?
