Do shy women avoid looking at men they like?

Do shy women have trouble looking at men they find attractive? For example, do shy women who like a particular guy whom they don't know but whom they frequently see in certain places, such as in a class or at the gym, try to avoid getting caught looking at the guy or quickly look away if the guy notices them looking?

Yep. I know I do. I am pretty shy. If I see someone who I may find attractive and/or someone I like, I look away because I am worried I'll blush. :o

In one word, yes.

I used to be like this, although I guess that doesn't help considering I have a penis, but..

Now that I've gotten less antsy and more aware of my surroundings, more confident in myself, it seems as though I do often see girls look away after I notice them looking at me, so unless I'm just particularly odd looking or something, they were probably just shy as they seemed to be the quiet type.. Some of them were quite attractive to boot..

Sometimes they'll smile, sometimes they just look away, a bit startled.. If they WERE liking what they saw, then that reaction has everything to do with them and their potential insecurities, not you..

People seem to not understand that other people can be just as insecure and unsure of themselves as they themselves sometimes are..

No, not really. I mean I won't stare like a weirdo, but I can admire from a distance quite well. Just enjoy the view kind of thing.

If I see him a lot I'd probably make an attempt to become friends (I actually did once become friends with someone this way) but I don't develop a crush, it's pointless if there's not a snowballs chance in hell of something happening.
