I don't think 99% of it is fake. I've met three people from this board, and the real life versions were all consistent with the internet versions. I think a lot of others on here have met up with people and found much the same.

 

The fake ones tend to be the ones who post 40 posts in one day - most of them abusive or trollish - then get banned and then keep coming back, having conversations with their own sock puppets etc.

 

I'm not a psychiatrist, but it's hard to imagine any sane and rational person over the age of 12 behaving like that. Of course I wouldn't trust such a clown to tell me the correct time of day, never mind rely on them for advice about something important.

No, most of it is fake in my experience. Too many times I've came across people that hate on me but really shouldn't be, not according to their online profiles anyway.

 

Nice profiles but clearly have this thing against me. Maybe because I'm genuine and they detect that.

Also people are all fake anyway.

 

But the internet... they come on with nice profiles but can start this childish personal vendetta against you for something as trivial as if they think you don't have that many friends.

 

The fakes are actually easier to spot irl because they don't come near you, like you avoid eachother

 

And it's really irritating when they are mods of a forum or something

Believe me I know how childish adults can be....

 

You only need to look at them movie charts, they're all cartoons...

 

It's like they're still at school...

 

So believe, alot of them do hate over childish things
