Section80
Hi, I've never posted on one of these things before but I was hoping I could get some advice. Im 23, about to graduate college, I live on my own, and I'm really interested in one of my coworkers. She's 37 and has kids. Im sure it sounds ridiculous, but I'm really starting to like her. We get along great, have a ton in common, I always manage to make to her laugh, and she's pretty flirty towards me. She always seems excited to talk to me and tell me about her weekend or night. Recently, the conversation between us has become more and more sexual and she's told me a couple times "I've never told anyone but you that!" Two of my close friends also work with the both of us. Both of my friends made comments after work about how she hardly talks to either of them but seems so excited to talk me when I walk in the room and has a bunch of stories to tell. Seeing as she is older than me by a few years, would it be completely ridiculous for me to ask her out on a date? Am I just reading too much into it?
amaysngrace
Ask her out. Then you'll know.
NoMagicBullet
No, it's not ridiculous. I'd say be careful about asking out someone you work with, if things don't work out. And both of you need to be clear with each other on what you expect if things do seem to be working out. Good luck!
