Women aren't as "soft" as they used to be

Recommended Posts

What was the name of that guy Hitler put in charge of reigning in all of Germany through a saturation of sinister antisemitic propaganda? He be dead now of course

But wouldn't it be super ironic if a fan of his came on this thread to suggest hateful misogynistic ads through history, even ones promoting violence against women who didn't heed the ad's warnings, had a just as thoroughly applied history of a misandrist counterpart?

Awww wait......

Are you aware of Hitler's views on women? He was asked how a dictator goes about controlling a society. His response was that you get the women first...then the children follow...then when enough time goes by it doesn't matter what the current men do because they'll die off. Hmm...sounds a little bit like what Satan tried to do in the Garden of Eden. Women need to realize they are targeted by evil forces. Ladies please be aware.

even though women in America today have higher rates of employment, higher rates of education, lower rate of suicide and substance abuse, and by far the leg up in the romantic world over men.

Women, the true ubermensch.

Also...whenever I hear someone mention how women get away with things men dont....I always say its because weak ass men think with their penises and allow women to get away with stuff.

Men who think with their big brain, have an abundance mentality, and value themselves greatly, will not message chicks who say negative, bitchy, or snarky things in their profiles. I find that kinda stuff off putting OP.

Who is Hitler? I never heard of him.

Really? You are aware he was christian and thought he was righteous in his aim right?

Women make up >60% of college graduates. How about a little affirmative action for men, eh? Lower test score requirements? Tuition breaks?

Completely off-topic, irrelevant comments aside, what exactly is your point?

The idea that there is an organized male-conspiracy to oppress women for fun is something you created in your own head, or some communist lesbo college lecturer put into your head. Same with this imaginary "rape-culture" you claim men subscribe to in America :lmao:

I am able to admit that there are ads that put down and de-humanize both genders, because we live in a consumerist society that seeks to appeal to our basest, most child-like parts which create a reflex for an impulsive, child-like way of choosing a product (what the advertisers want).

But you sara, don't want to talk about how we can solve this problem of objectifying and poor treatment of men and women. You want to push the never ending victimology of women for political and social gain, even though women in America today have higher rates of employment, higher rates of education, lower rate of suicide and substance abuse, and by far the leg up in the romantic world over men. But the woman-as-default-victim is a really fruitful hustle, why would someone like you want to give it up.

Funny you'd respond.....did I initiate conversation with you?

That is factually wrong. Hitler is quoted as saying that the Judeochristian story is the worst concept to befall humanity and it's his main opposing force. Hitler might have been "religious", but he was a cult member. Schools love to spoonfeed this lie to people.

I'll admit it seems men are struggling right now, it seems. But - here's the thing - there is an 'equal' playing field, pretty much. Do men just not do well on an equal playing field? Unless you have some sort of stance on men being outrightly discriminated against and denied opportunities based on their gender.

"Guys' Night" bar discounts? Sorry, I'm against affirmative action in any way, shape, or form. With the possible exception of veterans.

In addition to my last post, Hitler even went on a search for the spear that pierced Christ's side. He believed he would hold unstoppable power if he possessed it. This man was not a Christian. He was obsessed with Christ, yes, but then again so is Satan. Hitler was a cult member.

You seem to have been caught in a snare unintended for you M30. Hitler said a lot of things including that he was under the special protection of god and that he was a good christian.

Still. Can anyone remember the name of his minister of propaganda? It keeps escaping my memory.

Yes, women have a higher rate of employment because productive labor has been shipped away, and replaced by tedious, repettitive desk jobs (which give women an advantage).

Women have a higher rate of education, but only because universities don't teach anything worth learning. Few women compared to men get college degrees in important fields like engineering, chemistry, physics, and medicine, instead women tend to get mostly Psychology, Sociology, English Lit, and other useless liberal arts degrees that are more about political indoctrination than actually teaching you how to think.

Both of these are speculative and based on your opinions.

Men are perfectly capable of doing 'tedious, repetitive' desk jobs.

There are no more 'important' fields than any other field.

My thoughts on LS user Goebbels is that at least he puts a lot of thought into his posts and they aren't repetitive so I don't actually wish for him to stop posting regardless of the fact that I disagree with him the majority of the time.

THAT was it! Thanks. Now wouldn't it be funny if someone using his moniker weighed in on this thread to suggest that ads that do not imply violence toward men are just as bad as a longer history of ads implying violence will befall women who do not buy their products?

That is if anyone wanted to be associated as agreeing with one of hitler's lap dogs of course. ;)

I tend on thinking medicine and engineering and science fields much more important than what women are doing.

That's an interesting opinion, I suppose.

Very narrow minded and utilitarian of you, too. I suppose all art has to be useful, too? You have absolutely zero imagination for someone with the word 'dreamer' in their username.

So? Satan quoted direct Scripture when he was trying to tempt Jesus. Doesn't make him Christian.

Art is pretty useful but its all been done before. Now the new philosophers and artists are scientists that are wizards which are few in the world population and maybe one is born every other generation. So yeah. Sorry women are still not useful, nice try though.

I bet you are really, really bummed that you're straight.

The playing field isn't equal. Any man who has worked alongside women will tell you that women do not pull their own weight.

The only way women can even remotely compete with men on a wide scale is if they get an artificial leg up.

Yep, I work in a government job with a majority of women. Almost 50% of them don't work full-time including: job sharing, 4-day week, 3-day week and shorter working year. Women overwhelmingly take longer sick leave and often stay out for months on end. When early retirement was on offer last year about 80% of the employees who took it up were women. Also in the last year 2 women just resigned because of the 'pressures' of the job.

As for men, I've only ever met 1 man who worked a reduced week - 4 days and 1 who repeatedly took long-term sick leave.

In new elite Army unit, women serve alongside Special Forces, but first they must make the cut - The Washington Post

Notice they mention how their service in such a fashion had been previously not allowed? Kinda hard to help when you can't even sign up.

Gotta love advancement though and the opportunities it opens up for people show what they are capable of rather than being restricted to what a society will accept.

Well, I work with a majority of men. Half of them consistently are whiners and wimps about their work load, and the other half play with nerf guns all day and go take two hour breaks at lunch to drink beer.

And the reason I bring this up is...

Because I know that it's anecdotal evidence that means almost nothing.

Nah, the reason you bring it up is because you have no argument.
