Horoscope with dating/romance, are you a believer?

Recommended Posts

So let's put aside all the talk about theories, techniques, game, money, etc.

I just thought it might interesting to start a discussion about the spiritual side of all this. First off I'm a virgo. Most of my past relationships have been with Leo women oddly enough and I guess that's who I attract. Recently I went on a date with someone who was also the same sign as me (which is a first) and she kind of blew me away. It was so bizarre in a good way and we are on the same wavelength on almost everything. And this is just from talking in OLD and meeting in person. I'm curious to see how this unfolds.

What are your thoughts on horoscopes and compatibility? Have you attracted or been attracted to certain signs? Have you dated a same sign person?

I said this in the other thread, it is something I think about.

Again, I wait until there's a connection or lack of a connection, then out of curiosity, ask for their sign. More often than not, the ones I have connections with are the ones my sign is attracted to, the ones I have failures with are the ones I'm told to avoid. But I don't ask for their signs right off the bat and then base my decision on their answer.

It's just interesting how it works. I just can't get it to work with a Leo woman. I've also dated my own sign (scorpio) once and it wasn't the greatest experience in the world. I'm not sure two scorpios can work outside of the bedroom.

I mean I don't know much about it, beyond the surface stuff everyone is vaguely familiar with but I did google me and my BFs signs once (taurus and cancer) and it said we are compatible...it matched up pretty well

If you want to get an accurate reading of someone's personality traits, you'll have to get their/your natal chart. The sun sign isn't of the utmost significance in the grand scheme of things ;)

Edit- I'm just and informed skeptic btw.

I posted in the other thread about Scorpios just now. I do like looking at astrology and I think it can be rather accurate at times.

OP, I can relate to the same-sign chemistry. I'm an Aries, and my ex is an Aries (he has his sun, Mars and Venus in that sign, and my ascendant is Aries--so we are very, very Aries!) and I had my deepest connection so far with him. There was a lot of fighting, but we made up pretty easily. He was the first guy I actually thought I could be with for the rest of my life.

I hadn't had experience with any other fire signs until now--I'm currently dating a Leo. He exhibits a lot of typical Leo behavior, and the physical chemistry is off the charts.

I have found myself ridiculously attracted to Virgos, which I've read are a poor match for Aries. My first boyfriend was a Virgo, and my last major crush (former coworker) was as well. Aries do like a challenge, and Virgos can be rather impossible :p:laugh:

I've found Leo women to be complicated also. Although I don't think signs are a deal-breaker, it's just hard not to resist seeing a pattern if there is one. I think for me with Leo, eventually I grow weary of their somewhat pushy nature (from my perspective) and that's when things fall apart.

Haha, I was having brunch the other day with friends. And this guy there was telling us how he gets a horrible reaction from women when he tells them that he's an Aries. I personally don't know what traits Aries possess but I just find it funny.

Virgos are impossible? haha, I guess I can be impossible at certain times :bunny:

Aries are just the best around! We're the 'warriors' of the zodiac, with a need to always win. This applies to everything, especially arguments. :laugh:

Interesting that your guy friend gets a bad reaction from women. I've read that Aries women have one of the worse reputations in the zodiac--they're the 'spinsters' since it's so difficult for them to find a lasting relationship; they get bored easily and like to start fights; they're jealous and territorial but then don't like their men being jealous and they want space to do their own thing, etc. That is SO me. I have yet to have a relationship reach the 2-year mark and I have frequently wondered if I will ever want to settle down with one person. But then my Venus in Pisces wants that idealized, forever romance...sigh.

You just need to find a guy who is unpredictable enough to keep you interested. That way you won't get bored :D. Aries women can be very loyal actually, when they find the right partner. I have an Aries brother who is dating an Aries girl and they are almost made for each other :D....

I think the closest I came to that is my Aries ex. But there was so much drama; I just got tired of it after more than a year and I used the physical distance between us when he was away for his visa renewal as the perfect opportunity to break up with him. My eyes were starting to wander while he was away, anyway. I don't think I'm suited for long-distance situations.

The Leo guy I'm currently seeing is pretty unpredictable. He's very spontaneous, which is fun and cute when it's not annoying (it's annoying when it doesn't fit my schedule). :laugh: And though we don't get to see each other often at all (once every 7-10 days at best) because of our respective schedules, my eyes don't really wander at all. I find myself willing to wait. Don't know what that means for the future, but I'm happy now.

The "constant" drama would become predictable and get boring. Too much of anything can get that way.

I'm guessing that he's not the overly dramatic type (which sounds weird considering this is a LEO we're talking about :lmao:), but I'd imagine that he would provide enough of a challenge to keep you excited without getting too stale too quickly.

---------------------------

Me being the Virgo that I am with an opposite ascendant, I value consistency, as well as passion. So a certain level of drama wouldn't get boring to me, as long as it's tempered with a fair amount of calm.

I get on with every sign in all honesty, but as far as dating goes, I've got a special liking for Water sign girls (Scorpio, Cancer & Pisces) as well as fellow earth sign girls (Taurus, Capricorn, other Virgos). Virgo women are exceptionally pretty to me, as are Libra women, and Aquarian women. Geminis are also very pretty usually, but I never really find myself strongly attracted to them.

The first girl I ever really properly liked though, was an Aries. She was the right amount of fire, creativity and eccentricity to really get to me - plus she was serious piff like a lot of Aries women are :love:. It would never have worked between us, but the sex would have been awesome if we ever let it happen.

EDIT: To be honest, women of every sign are gorgeous, and I find that some of them have accentuated features that are associated with their sign. Sagittarius women always have great legs for example, Cancers have great breasts, even when small, and they are sensitive. Air sign women are always very pretty in the face etc..........

No, he isn't overly dramatic. He can be a bit jealous, which I say is annoying but I secretly like it. ;):love:

Physical features associated with your sign...I haven't seen much on that. I do know Leos are associated with great hair, and my current has gorrrrgeous hair--it's super-soft and thick, great natural body, he doesn't have to put any sort of product in it. It just looks amazing all the time.

Do you know the standout physical feature(s) for Aries? :laugh:

Aries also have great hair, it's a fire sign thing. They also are quite pretty, like air sign. Each sign on the zodiac represents a part of the body, as I have read.

Aries = head/hair

Taurus = Neck

Gemini = Arms/hands

Cancer = Chest/breasts

Leo = Back (and hair)

Virgo = Stomach

Libra = Bum

Scorpio = Genitals (:D)

Sagittarius = Thighs

Capricorn = Knees

Aquarius = Calves

Pisces = Feet

I find that in the chart, you can see what someone will look like by the aspects, as well as the placements. The rising sign is an indicator. So an Aries could look have physical traits of other signs, because of her rising, or planets in her 1st house, or even planetary aspects to her ascendant.

Aries standout is usually face and hair, it's also something of an erogenous zone, as I have noticed and also read about after learning this. Some of the most gorgeous looking female celebrities are Aries women.

I've heard that Aries women are fond of sharp objects, this has always fascinated me. Is there any truth to it? one lady (Aries) I once knew, threw scissors at me because I said I didn't like her dress, they're mental :mad:

I had a professional astrologer do a chart for me years ago and he was flirting with me over the phone. He said I was very attractive and have no problems attracting men. I asked, "How do you know? You've never met me." He said everything was in my natal chart and proceeded to describe me like he was looking at a photo.

Your 7th house describes your ideal marriage partner. Mine is Capricorn. I was just contacted on my dating website by a Capricorn so I watched some youtube videos of him because I wanted to hear him speak, watch him move and interact with others. He is not conventionally attractive but had a reassuring quality of quiet strength about him that I found very enticing, like he could enfold me in his arms and I'd be safe. Plus we have lots in common.

There are free compatibility charts online. Try them out.

:laugh: It's not about their size.

They are supposed to be the **most** erogenous zone of Cancer women.

What are your thoughts on horoscopes and compatibility?

I think horoscopes are a load of BS and allowing them to influence your dating life, or any part of your life, is idiotic. :rolleyes:

(well, you asked)

I dated a Libra, and he did indeed have a very nice butt. We also had that best-friend type of connection; we almost never argued. Peas in a pod. But the sexual attraction wasn't all there on my side. If it had been, I think he would've been it for me. As it stands, I still think of him from time to time.

:lmao: I just read FitChick's post about how the 7th house is supposed to describe your ideal marriage partner. Libra is in my 7th house.

Well, your chest area is probably very sensitive anyway, or likely there are other points in your chart that may dictate otherwise.

Interestingly, I find that Cancer women either have amazing breasts, or very flat chested. Kind of like, all or nothing. There are women who have their moon in Cancer who have amazing breasts aswell.
