Getting better

So over the past few days I actually have begun to realize there are other fish in the sea and if me and my ex don't work out it won't be so bad. The funny thing is I met my ex when I was still getting over someone else and never thought I'd fall for anyone. Right now it just sucks because I hurt my ex's feelings pretty bad and she's scared of getting hurt again so she wants me to give her some time before we become friends again. I'd love to work things out and I really only want her but I hate the waiting game because I've had to blow off going on casual dates with other girls. She has said we will make amends but not yet. What I'm saying is I'm getting more emotionally ready if she were to say we should never get back together...I just hate the uncertainty.
