Question about phone numbers????

Is it ok for a guy to give a girl his phone number?

I have found that it makes more of an impression for a man to give a woman his phone number. Instead of asking for someone's phone number, my handing it to a woman and saying that I might be available to talk Wednesday after 7 in the evening makes more of an impact. Besides, I'll know if the woman is interested or not, and I like women who show initiative, rather than expect me, as the male, to make every single move.

 

Doing this also cuts out the woman's wondering of "He asked for my number, but will he call? Is he really interested?" Me handing it to them ought to show that I have some interest.

I agree with faux. As a woman, it is a lot easier when the guy gives me his number. It feels a lot safer too.
