Radu
Am i the only one who cannot see as a serious LTR prospect, a girl who puts up a topless picture of herself on the net ? Doesn't matter if it's FB, Google+, or any online dating site. Is flashing the entire country the new thing for dating ? PS: Pls no off-topic discussions.
madjac74
Are you seeing this often, Radu? I see some pretty trashy pics on facebook and OLD but I don't see a lot of topless stuff. Do you have links? haha just kidding
Author Radu
Not too often, but enough to notice it. So you meet a nice girl, you two get along. Every new date, she gets more and more attractive. Then you check her FB profile, she friends you and such. You talk about her last vacation at the sea. You check the photo album, on whatever. She is topless and has a string bikini. So now you know how she looks naked, her mysterious body is known, and it's on the net, where everything that is put up there, remains up there. Hey look, your left nipple is slightly larger than your right one, and i know that. Online dating, you see a nice girl, same interests, wants a serious relationship. You saw her pic on the site, you know how she looks. She sends you a topless pic. And i'm left there wondering, why don't i just fap here, what's the point of getting to know you. What i'm getting at is ... where the hell is their modesty ? You put stuff on the internet, it remains there. Edited August 17, 2012 by Radu
SmileFace
This is a huge problem.. Why will someone post pics in their bathing suits?!
madjac74
I'm sure the majority of it is attention seeking. Even if they want nothing to do with you they want you to want them. The same could be said for guys who insist on profile pics of themselves with their shirts off.

Anela
Most guys don't have tits ... most. And those of us that do, like to keep them under wraps. A lot of guys will add a shirtless picture - something snapped in the bathroom mirror, with their phone. One guy had photos of himself in his underwear, trying to display his "goods" in the best way he knew how, without being banned from the site.

yongyong
Do you think they would give a damn if some guy on internet think 'hell I can't marry this chick'? ROFL I honestly don't care as long as they are not my cousin. What you should do is enjoy those girls online or in reality and find a good girl to settle down Edited August 17, 2012 by yongyong
sally4sara
Lets look at this issue with less assumption and stick to facts. What happens when a woman has a topless picture of herself? She took her top off and that happens everyday whether or not she has sex with anyone casually or monogamously or not at all. She had her picture taken or she set a timer to take picture of herself or she popped off a pic of her reflection. None of this requires that she have sex with anyone casually or monogamously. She put it somewhere others can see it. Again - this does not require her to have sex with anyone casually or monogamously. Why do some people act like a woman who took her top off for a photo showed indication of her sexual behavior when the body in the pic is having sex with no one? If she takes her clothes off, I can see why you'd think about her and about sex when you look at the photo. But to think because her clothes are off she can't agree to be faithful has no basis. If someone wears a basketball jersey for a pic do we assume they have to be good at the game or even play at all? If it makes you think "other people will see it" you're right. Its her body and maybe she is proud of it. Maybe she wants to have pics to remember herself in her physical prime? Did she have sex with you when you saw the picture? If not, what make you think she has to have sex with people who see it? If a woman works as a model and gets a gig as a VS catalog girl - are we to assume they cannot have a monogamous relationship? Of all the girly mags you've looked at - how many of the women in some manner of undress had sex with you? I'm betting none. What evidence is there in a topless photo of a person NOT having sex to indicate they have no ability to be in a committed relationship? It sounds much more like you're assuming ownership of the body in the pic and weighing what amount of control they might give you over it with little consideration that they are the person inside it.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAT? Did I misread? What I gathered was you are confused as to how someone could possibly make judgements about a woman's sexuality when she posts topless pictures of herself on the internet? Like...what? Like posting topless photos of oneself online is just...normal? I'm gonna assume I misunderstood your post... ? I had to have. Posting topless photos of yourself online where anyone can see them is a clear cry for attention, for sexual attention. Yeah I'd be wary of starting a romantic R with a woman who did that if I was a guy. Seriously did I miss something here... ?
sally4sara
Do you know anyone who was unfaithful but DID NOT have a topless photo of themselves? If you do then you know a topless photo is not required to be unfaithful.

And if you get sexual interest shown to you, you have to have sex with the person who showed interest? I ask again - how many girly mag models had sex with you after you looked at their centerfold? Its not a normal or abnormal thing to do.

If you do then you know a topless photo is not required to be unfaithful. Well I wasn't specifically talking about whether or not someone who posts topless photos of themselves online is able to be faithful. Although yeah, I'd guess they are more likely to stray, due to their obvious need for sexual attention. Did anyone say that people who don't post topless photos of themselves online never ever cheat? Only that you sit in judgment of people with no evidence of what you're judging them guilty of. Oh and that you find sticking to facts a "ridiculous" thing to do before deciding someone is guilty of anything. Next you will say women who wear mini skirts are rape seeking.

You gotta be fking kidding me. You are REALLY confused as to how posting topless photos of oneself online for anyone to see could send a negative message to men looking for serious relationships? If a guy posted a photo of his dick online, I'd be disgusted and think he was an immature dbag looking for attention. Not relationship material. Or, it would be the same as me daring to JUDGE (gasp) a guy who brought me into his apartment and it was a total pigsty. I'D WONDER IF HE WAS RELATIONSHIP MATERIAL because of the way he is presenting himself and the way he lives! That's cool how you are soooo non judgemental, but then turn around and tell me I blame rape victims for being raped. Classy.

I get how posting a topless pic could make someone think you couldn't be faithful to them - some people are fking stupid. But having your tits out or having your dick out doesn't require you have sex at all. The word is called exhibitionism and isn't defined by ****ing, indiscriminately or otherwise. Its one thing to say "I would prefer to not date someone who" behaved or had or whatever it was you didn't like. To extrapolate what you saw into actions you have no evidence of and believe them to be incapable of having a healthy relationship with anyone has no basis. I don't think the guy playing a re-enactment of a murder case in Unsolved Mysteries is bound to murder someone eventually.
rocketman122
I have never come across a woman showing topless pics of herself but like a guy would look and enjoy but could not take a woman like that seriously for a LTR. it says something about that person. Posting topless photos of yourself online where anyone can see them is a clear cry for attention, for sexual attention. Yeah I'd be wary of starting a romantic R with a woman who did that if I was a guy. Absolutely. it has nothing to do with being faithful but I would say that woman like this open to showing themselves naked online for all to see is open with her sexuality and would potentially have that personality to cheat. if you have no problem being topless for all to see, then cheating wouldnt be such a and issue. but it says a lot about the woman imo. I would stay far away. and going topless is far worse than going with a mini skirt. comparing rape with wearing a mini skirt compared to going topless is ridiculous.
rainfall
I get how posting a topless pic could make someone think you couldn't be faithful to them - some people are fking stupid. . I wouldn't think it meant A woman couldn't be faithful. I would just assume she had no self respect and was so desperate for any male attention she would do whatever she could to get it.
