Deejette
Basically the same advice applies to you as to Taressa. Since I have personally received declarations of love through e-mail and snail-mail without ever meeting or laying eyes on the person, I do not hold much stock in instant love just because someone sounds good on paper. Jumping into being with someone's family during a holiday feast can be awkward if family expectations are high about a pending relationship. So keeping a cool head and not getting scared by the intensity of T' expectations is a good start. Keeping it light and friendly is a good idea. hey guys, no advice for me????? Tony T
DEEJETTE WRITES: "Jumping into being with someone's family during a holiday feast can be awkward if family expectations are high about a pending relationship." Even though that's hitting the matter right at the heart, she very right on target about this. I think it's great to be in love, getting people to that point is part of the mission of this forum, but falling in love before seeing, touching and smelling is very scary business...for me anyway. Jodie
Many of us have seen your friendship with Taressa blossom, and obviously you both find that you have a lot in common. I can understand the skepticism, but I would still like to wish you both the very very best of luck when you meet each other. Even reading your early posts, you just seem to be to be on the same wavelength, so if you've got the chemistry thing too, you could both be really lucky. Hope it goes well for the both of you. Taressa
Okay sweet billy, I've got some advice for you... get your cute southern butt over to this honey-pie-yankee-gal's home soon before I get really irked with you. I've got plans for you, handsome, starting in the sunroom... I love you, Taressa
