Women often like to celebrate dating anniversaries - 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, etc. as milestones in the relationship. What, in your male opinion, is a good point to begin counting the start of the relationship from - the first date? the first kiss? the first time you have sex? first time you say i love you? When does it really begin for guys? What month/dating 'anniversary' is worth celebrating, if any? And what way do you like to celebrate, if at all?

Assuming the couple isn't multi-dating, the first date.

if girlfriends didn't mention those dates i wouldn't know any of them had passed.

i would suspect most men are the same way.
