TooHonest123
I am just curious guys...how much would facial features change if a person works out? lets say perhaps somebody who goes from 130 to 170 Lb. I am a guy...and i read somewhere that exersice cause the release of testosterone. Will this affect a mans facial appearance? could it possibly affect facial hair growth? Thank you ! USMCHokie
Great question...I'd be curious to see what people have to say about this myself...my face tends to get a bit gaunt and thin looking if I get too lean...
Emilia
Good question about the testosterone, I wondered about that before too. When I lose too much fat my face is affected too so I stick to a complex carb rich diet.
tman666
My beard, hair, and finger nails grow faster when I'm in a caloric surplus (i.e. "bulking"). I've noticed that my face looks different in photos where I was leaner vs. photos where I was a lard-ass, haha. And while a hard workout will affect your testosterone and GH levels, there are a LOT of things that will influence your hormones. Basically, training hard and eating a balanced and protein rich diet, along with proper water intake, stress management, and getting enough sleep will help you optimize your hormonal profile. This seems like a no-brainer, but that's sort of what it all boils down to unless you're qualified to talk shop as an endocrinologist, which most of us aren't. I wouldn't get too wrapped up in worrying about it. Train hard, sleep, eat well, drink a lot of water, keep alcohol intake reasonable, have sex, repeat (not necessarily in that order). Your facial appearance will change. Depends wholeheartedly on how much you gain/lose. My first cycle I gained 30lbs. Facial appearance did change slightly, but not much. As for facial hair growth, you'll notice little to no change. Unless you start doing cycles, then yes, you will notice more hair growth.
Author TooHonest123
Hello Guys! I just wanted to add on. The initial reason why i joined this forum was because my ex left me for another guy. Since then I started working out. so far managed to put on 15 pounds of muscle. Before i started working out I did not have that much facial hair, but a few weeks after i noticed i started growing a more noticeable beard...I am about to turn 22 by the way and this all happend over a 2-3 month spand. Which in turn led me on to starting this thread.
