All The Women Here Who Complain About Men Wanting Supermodels

It's pretty much a scientific fact that people tend to date in their own leagues in terms of areas like appearance, social status and income...yet I see a ton of women who constantly complain that guys all want the 24 year old supermodel.

What is that all about? The only guys who want a 24 year old supermodel are those who are extremely good looking/very high social status/very wealthy. The dating world is kind of like a market place - we all try to attract the person with the most value (combination of looks and personality for both genders, income for men) so guys in a certain league are generally going to go for women in their league. There are exceptions to this but not all that often in my view

Anyways, are these women complaining about this because they want a man who is super high in the areas I talked about or it just a way for them to justify their lack of success (which is often times a result of lack of effort and/or terrible attitude)? I really don't get it. The only guys I know who expect a super hot babe are guys who are good looking and super toned themselves. I know very few men who expect a woman to be way way more attractive than themselves

Alot of guys will settle for someone more average while they spend their free time masturbating to pictures of really hot young babes or talking about the virtues of Adrianna Lima like she actually has ever done anything for him. Sometimes I hear guys say more nice things about Adrianna Lima then they say about their actual partners.

I don't think men only hold out for super models but I do think a lot of men over idolize certain types of women that they happily incorporate into their life through sexual visuals and expect their real life partner to be happy that at least he isn't out banging other women.

I was just saying something similar recently, except is was with regard to married women with kids spouting more adoration of freaking Christian Grey than I've ever heard them say about their husbands. It's embarrassing!

Christian Grey is the epitome of over idolizing a "type", and he doesn't even exist.

Most people have dating experience in their teens nowadays. Guys even in their early 20s know who their league is and usually date somebody as attractive as themselves

Don't mistake young boys fantasizing about pornstars as being reality. It's no different than women fantasizing about marrying a movie star. People know that's not reality and they try to meet somebody that is right for them who is close to being equivalent of themselves

These are clearly different threads. You're so dumb, Pyro.

clearly since they were posted one minute apart.:D

You're missing the point of my thread. I never once stated that you have to go for a super beautiful babe or anything like that

I just don't understand all the whining on this site constantly by people who seem to think that the only folks dating are millionaires and playmates. Most people are average people and they date other average people and there's nothing wrong with that

Apparently I am. Since "your" thread seems like it condemns the need to want a supermodel... and my post is all about enjoying normal people... yep. Clearly "I" have missed the point.

There's often a difference between 'what you do get'/'what you go for' and 'what you want to get' likely why many gals complain guys want only supermodels even when guys are dating gals in their league. Many guys want supermodels yet settle for the average gal and them settling doesn't mean they don't want supermodels.

Most sex, dating, and relationship advice for men is about young attractive gals so I highly doubt the only guys who want a 24 year old supermodel are extremely good looking high social status wealthy guys. Seems more like the only guys with a high chance of getting a such a gal is those guys.

I know many guys who expect a super hot babe as it seems many guys:

- equate 'gals are less visual' to 'gals are blind'

- think that looks don't matter to gals

- think being nice entitles him to attractive gals

Actually American women should be grateful.

This is the only country where single moms, fat girls and old women can still get enough attentions to boost their ego.

Watch how fat girls are treated in other country. (you can't even get a job as a cahier because it disgusts people)

Watch how fat girls act in american soil. you will be blown away.

Are fat girls supposed to act differently than girls of other weight classes? Maybe that's the custom in your land (or planet, as I am starting to suspect) , but here on "Americun Soil" our weight is not supposed to determine how we behave. Also, old women and single moms don't have to adhere to a particular code of behavior.

What kind of a loser bothers to be concerned about the weight of other people and their behavior in relationship to their weight?

Dude, that's just … pathetic.

Maybe you aren't a fat old single mom, but I'd bet big bucks that you have plenty of things of your own to be concerned about.

Where are all you folks coming from, anyway. What do you care who other folks "want," whether they are fatsos, supermodel groupies, old ladies, or whatever?

Because they're listing all the types that other folks want which often don't include them...?

And what way should women make an effort in your opinion - taking your vast dating experience into account?

Cause I have eyes, walk outside your house. Most couples feature people who are very similar to each other

This whole idea of men dating supermodels when they're 40 years old and chubby and balding only happens in Hollywood. In real life, the only men who date super hot women are usually those who are very good looking (or in rare cases, very financially well off)

Most folks are average people dating average people

*raises hand*

I turned someone down, that I had a crush on, because he made it sound like he was doing me a favour when he asked me out. He couldn't just ask me out, he had to preface it with, "I heard you had a crush on me..." He may have been nervous, but I didn't put that together with him at the time, due to him being, "Mr. Cool." Still, he could have just asked me out as though he wanted to go out with me.

So you turned down a guy you had a crush on because he didn't ask you the right way?

Yea that's not completely asinine

So women aren't responsible for doing this? The only difference is they fantasize about men with looks and a million other features instead of just looks for men

I remember an episode of king of queens where Carrie tells her husband "I love you honey but If I had a chance with (I think it was derek jeter), I would throw you in front of a bus"

Women are just as sexual and just as shallow as men are. They just hide it because they're afraid of being labeled as sluts while men don't give a ***k. I remember a bunch of women on a fitness website once talking about how incredibly turned on they were by the characters in "Avengers", yet they would never talk about it in real life because they're afraid of the slut label

He was embarrassed to be seen with me, didn't stand up for me when I was bullied at school, and asked me out a few weeks before I moved to the U.S. I wanted to go out with someone who wouldn't treat me that way.

This thread is asinine, brahma.

Well, that's fair, you should say that because the way you posted it is asinine

Anyways, 1 guy is not representative of 3 billion men on this planet. That's the equivalent of getting attacked by a dog when you were young and being terrified of all dogs the rest of your life....even when 99% of dogs are plenty nice

Plenty of very nice guys out there. There's a huge disconnect with reality on this site

"I turned someone down, that I had a crush on, because he made it sound like he was doing me a favour when he asked me out. "

That sounded asinine to you since you think it's asinine to turn down a crush because of the way they asked you.

That didn't sound asinine to me as there are some people who would reject someone that asked in a way portraying superior and that they're doing them a favor.

Whatever, that doesn't even matter. That's some irrelevant nonsense that happened a long time ago. Are we really going to sit here and pretend 1 idiot is representative of the entire male gender?

Posts like Anela will look for every reason to blame their lack of success dating - men look for supermodels, men look for 20 year olds, men look for this and that. Come on when do we stop blaming the world for everything that happens to us?

Nowhere did I state, suggest, or imply that guy represented the entire gender.

Seems like you're going to sit there and pretend my post was about something other than saying her post was asinine to you as I don't consider it asinine to reject a guy who asks you out as if he's doing you a favor.

I don't see her blaming men for what happened to her.

I do see her saying she rejected a guy she had a crush on because he was acting like Mr. Cool making it sound like he was doing her a favor.

With you responding that it was completely asinine for her to turn down a guy she had a crush on because he didn't ask her the right way. Then later when you get more of his mistreatment towards her you respond with she should have worded it better because the way she posted it was asinine.

Why do you frequently call the important experiences of other people "irrelevant nonsense," "asinine," etc? Do you have difficulty seeing the humanity in others?

It's pretty much a scientific fact

that any claim beginning with this phrase can be summarily dismissed as bogus.

Because his own experiences are scientific fact.
