Author irc333
Your are giving an example of a man feeling attraction for a woman, based on hair color. What about a woman? Do you have any understanding of how women feel attraction, or not, for a man? That's only because I've overdone it the other way around posting here.
Author irc333
Okay, nerdy guys.....have at it Sexy Star Wars Girls! LOL Believe it or not, there's a woman who goes to these Star Wars conventions, dresses as Slave Leah and other Star Wars characters, she's been on POF and had plum given up on dating altogether, in her early 40's, cute woman...always lamenting on FB how she can't meet such a great guy...on a CONSTANT basis...she's got self esteem issues thats for sure. She's really no different from any woman with typical dating woes. lol
xxoo
It's a big Mobius strip. As guys, we're supposed to "stay in our league" -- like the OP is trying to demonstrate with the geeky-guy/self-proclaimed-geeky-girl scenario -- but at the same time fall madly in love as if we are not restricting ourselves to any "league". What's the way out? "Geeky" isn't a league. It is a common interest, but common interests don't guarantee attraction. Average people fall in love with other average people all the time. Falling in love is the way out. When in love, no one else is better.
Mme. Chaucer
Considering how most men have to ask out a ton of women to finally get a date, yes, he is with her because she was the first to say yes. I have never been in a relationship that started with this dynamic. (I've had several long term ones, 2 marriages and plenty of dates.) If I discovered that it had - I'd be SO long gone! Mme. Chaucer
OP - would you mind answering my question about why it surprises you that geeky girls care about physical attraction when you (self proclaimed geek guy) care about it so very much yourself??
