Maybe you'll get lucky and he will say those words. This helped me in my situation because that was a commitment to an action. So once he did not follow through, he became a liar in my eyes. Before that, to me, he had been someone who was struggling with letting go of an unhappy marriage. He was someone who I knew loved me, but I did not know if or when he was leaving. This does sound quite like a lie in disguise, doesn't it?? "I miss you, I love you like I have loved no other, I will never get over you. But - I will not do anything about it". I listened to the same thing for way too long. Thanks for your post. You make a lot of sense. He has told me he's leaving. He and his wife decided that reconciliation is not working and so have decided to separate. He has told his close friends and family - so it is official. Like I said in an earlier post, while we are still in email communication we will not be jumping into a relationship straight away. He needs time to process all of this and he needs time to actually go ahead with moving etc without me being involved. I think it's best if his close friends help him out that so his support group is wide and not just me. Who knows where this will lead....Who knows if it will work out? I hope it does...
