HeavenOrHell
In an LDR, I mean a true LDR where you don't see each other for weeks or months at a time, when you talk on the phone do you find their voice more sexy and lovely somehow than any 'normal' relationship you've had? I do, even though we talk every day (except on rare occasions) maybe the distance, not being there with him, enhances the way I hear his voice. There's also tenderness and love in his voice, and sometimes horniness (I think there is in mine too). It's like I notice/appreciate/love the sound of his voice more, even 2 1/2 years on, and after about 20 times of meeting up. I love his accent anyway, and English isn't his first language, although he speaks it perfectly, maybe no-one else would hear it in the way I do, it wouldn't sound anything special to them
bluegreen
I know just what do you mean : )) these last past few days I been on here a lot now as for the subject yeah we all get that and some people are just born with voices that make you melt UK and Irish English accent oh man don't get me started on that. I also love that about him he has that laugh that is smooth low and chocolate sweet and asleep or awake I would recognize it anywhere its best when he does notice how intently I listen to him if he does then he gets and starts fumbling up and that also is kind of cute cute cute : ))) I also have been told that I would make fortune as hotline call girl except I never dared to try it even when I was and still am starving student

january2011
Oh yes It helps that his accent and pronunciation of some words are very different from mine. I have never had a visceral reaction to another person's voice before. It really is music to my ears.

Zyux
Definitely, any phone call from my partner gets me excited and lights my day up.
LittleTiger
Definitely, any phone call from my partner gets me excited and lights my day up. Me too! I never thought much about the kiwi accent before but my guy's voice is *hot, hot, hot* - I have saved messages on my phone that I still listen to occasionally because he says certain things in a certain way that makes me go weak at the knees.
Feelin Frisky
Romance being entirely about "want" (rather than "having"), the LDR and the relish one can develop for hearing that person's voice can be intoxicating as I found out not so long ago. That's all I can say about it. Enjoy.
Author HeavenOrHell
Romance is about 'having' as well I'd be bored quite quickly with romance being entirely about 'want', ie with someone I rarely saw.
