contactedbutconfused
After a little over 2 months of NC, my ex started messaging me saying the breakup was a big mistake and saying she wasn't herself and wanting to meet me so we could get back together. At first I ignored the messages, but they persisted for a week, so I gave in and replied that I didn't know what to say but I was ok with meeting up. A day later, her reply came to thank me for responding and to say that she'll arrange a meeting soon and hope I will be free then. Now, that was 4 days ago. If she was as sure about wanting to get back together as she sounded in her initial messages, why does she need all this time to arrange a meeting? Did the apparent ambivalence in my message assure her that I still cared, and was that all she needed? Or is she trying to think about what to say when we meet? Or is she wondering if she can handle meeting me face to face? I don't know. This all seems so confusing. I'd really appreciate it if someone could give me an opinion on this. Olivia_19742004
You're thinking too much. Just wait until she contacts you, meet her and then ask what the hell is up.
