indianmom
my husband is a Foreign service officer and was posted overseas. I stayed back here to provide stability for our two kids entering Junior high school and high school. He visited us every 4-6 weeks. At the end of his 18 month assignment, he returned and moved into an apartment and now claims that I had deserted the marriage 18 months prior! What is the best proof to refute this allegation? riverratt
Be perfectly honest common sense.. You have the proof he was sent over seas to work and staying back with the kids for their sake was a decision most people would think was a good one..school for the main one.. riverratt
Also if he was sent to a pretty rough place that would help with your case as well.
standtall
Indianmom..more info is needed. You said that you "stayed back here" ..where exactly is here? Was it a home that you had jointly shared with your husband and children prior to him leaving, or did you move somewhere new at the same time that he left? If yes, is his name on the lease/mortgage?
