Although, in all fairness, this is the OW/OM board, so I thought my stuff with exMM was relevant here and my stuff with SGs wasn't.... lol. Anyway, had a great date. We have many friends that are in bands, and we went out to watch a mutual friend and his band. Danced the night away We had a lot of fun, as we always do together. Dancing, laughing, flirting, etc. And we always discuss politics too, even though we are on opposite ends of the political scale! lol So, it was a great date, as usual. I think if we didn't have all the issues of differences on such major issues in our lives, we could really make a go of a relationship together. But, as it stands now, I think that would be very difficult. So, as long as neither of us expects it to last forever, or turn into marriage, I think we are fine. Just not sure how long that will last? If a relationship isn't "going" anywhere, I think that it would be hard to keep it going long term. Thoughts? Oh well, I got to have a few drinks, dance, and laugh with someone I truly enjoy spending time with. That was enough for tonight for me. Haven't you read the small print??? You'll be barred in no time! To post here from the OW stance you must be sitting at home pining, spending long, cold, dark nights alone with a voodoo doll of the wife. You don't have a job or career, don't socialise with friends/family and your life is empty. The highlight of your day is when your phone beeps and yer man has managed to find thirty seconds in the toilet to text you a handful of meaningless characters - which are probably sexual because that's pretty much the extent of his interest in you. I just thought it was a tad odd that someone insinuated that I was talking too much about exMM on the OW/OM board... it was, well, weird. So, I thought I'd share... lol. I mean, exMM is only one very small part of my life right now, and has been for the past year and a half (at times, no part of my life). But, I came to this board to talk about him, so, that's what I talked about. And then got asked, why aren't you talking about the SGs you are dating? So, I thought it would be nice of me to share. Did I mention that SG is ADORABLE? We make good dance partners, even if he is like a foot taller than me... lol... and I try to lead sometimes... lol. Yep, had a good time, as always.
