Past lives, theories

Ive been reading a lot of this latley. i would love to hear everyones thoughts and opinions. I believe that our energy/soul, is extremely powerful. i believe that we are made with strong energy but weak vessels. I have so many questions... and no answers...so i thought id read everyones opinion.

Well I haven't yet read the links but I do believe in reincarnation, and if we all remembered our past lives we would never learn anything.

 

Each life here on earth is a new "day" in the classroom. We're here on earth to learn and advance our spiritual beings. Once we've learned all we've planned to learn, we go back to spirit form (we die). Some spirits choose to die early in life, some choose to remain here for the full length of human life, and some may leave unexpectedly sooner than anticipated if they learn what they need to learn faster than they thought; or if they no longer serve a purpose.

 

This is why I fully believe the song by Billy Joel-- "Only the Good Die Young." The "good" being the people who are as spiritually advanced as they're going to be, or who have fulfilled their purpose here on earth and no longer have a need to be here.

 

We remember all of our past lives when we are in spirit form but once in human form the past is wiped out, as to ensure we continue the learning process.

 

I believe in reincarnation because I've met certain people in life where I was positive I've known them for far longer than what was real in my lifetime. I'll give a pretty weird story for you... I consider myself a spiritualist above anything else. I have a personal psychic medium that i've gone to for many years and this story happened the FIRST reading I had with him:

 

It is regarding my ex boyfriend. This medium had never met me prior to this reading, and when he sat down with me, he picked him up immediately, and said, "Oh well, the reason you've always felt like you've known him longer than you have is because he was your brother in your past life, and you were very close..." And it only cemented an odd feeling I had about him because we have very similar physical characteristics between us. Not just that we have brown hair or brown eyes. We have three beauty marks/moles the EXACT same type and in the EXACT same location on our faces/ behind the ear. EXACT. It's kind of creepy actually. And if we were related in past life, it would make sense.

 

Also, past lives impact current lives. I know for me personally, I don't particularly like kids. My mother pushed me to go to college for elementary education and because I entered school undecided I went that route. I hated it. I had no desire to teach kids. I couldn't stand being around kids. Especially large groups of them. It overwhelms me. I don't want to play with them, touch them, talk to them or in any way engage with them like 90% of women do. If I never had a child in my lifetime, I don't think I'd particularly care. The first reading also with my medium he said, "oh, so I'll tell you why you can't stand kids!" And he proceeded to tell me that in the 1500's I lived in Ireland, and apparently I had FOURTEEN, yes 14! kids. And that it was odd at that time because they ALL LIVED. Weeeeeiirdd!

well, that was quite a story! but i have inquired to a medium before and she has spoken to me in regards to past occurences. it would make a lot of sense to things that happen but they are other things that interest me also.

 

1.)do you believe our gender preference the same?--- could explain a lot in regards to human formality and the spirit.

 

2.) do we look the same or similar?

 

3.)what about those that are murdered? or have had accidents? i mean those who havent been able to complete their missions?

 

4.) how long do you believe that we have to stay in spirit form in order to relive?

 

5.) why do People murder people? is it something that their spirit thrives on? or is that just a physical/bad brain wiring?

 

and as for your ex-boyfriend being your brother in your past life...........WHOA WHOA WHOA.... hm. so was that love more of a bonding love? or Passionate love?

 

I believe that spirits either A.) Run in packs or B.) have a mate.

 

which would make sense to some aspects as to why there is a relationship inbalance in life. this is in regards to breakups and dating and chemistry.

 

i cant imagine dating my brother in my next life. Ill go crazy... he is super messy.

 

I really am interested in this. it feels like a cycle... and it explains so many things... except for DeJa Vu. ... well in a way it does because i believe that we see the the life we are going to live before we live it.
