I see it as "I don't care that some see it as wrong. It suits our purposes and produces more good than harm, for more people." As Spark points out, you can't really judge the greater good/harm for others, particularly the BS. I have to admit, when I was an OW, I didn't worry about the greater good for the BS, for humankind, or whomever. I mainly cared about myself and an if an A met some conditions (such as I didn't have to personally lie to anyone, didn't have to sneak around - since I don't like sneaking around, etc.) and the A suited my purposes, that was good enough for me. I didn't care what others thought. What has changed is how I think, so I behave differently now. 1 Link to post Share on other sites
