EVERYTHING reminds me of our EX relationship!

Recommended Posts

Damn... this break up stuf is hell.

I cant do a single thing without it in some way reminding me of my bloody ex girlfriend and how it had something to do with her ... i miss what we had so much... i hate her for taking it away from me :(

Yesterday i couldnt do a single thing without it reminding me of her :

1. travel on train to town to go shopping... was the same town we would always go to together - argh!

2. go to the cinema BY MYSELF ... we used to go all the time, and talk about the movie afterwards for ages.

3. Drink Red wine at evening ... we used to drink and talk about it all the time.

4. Eat KFC - she used to really complain about how i loved fried chicken while she hated it.

5. Sit in sauna at gym - we used to sit there and talk about our day every day after the gym when me met from work.

6. Buy book that is next in a series that SHE started reading first... argh!

.... you get the picture

Theres nothing left for me to do rather than start doing something im not really interested in so it can be something i never did with her - absolutely everything i am and everything ive done or did is a constant reminder of her and how i would much rather be doing it with her.

Life is so hard sometimes. :(

StartingAgain

I inow just how you're feeling. I went through the same thing after my wife and I split. I wondered around in a fog for months. With the exception of work, everything I did, I did with her and all these things brought back bittersweet memories. Even driving a certain route would bring back memories and make the pain come up again.

The good news is that it gets better with time. I still have these episodes every once in a while now, but they don't hurt as bad and they don't last as long.

Pop, hang in there. I think everyone goes through that phase. It does get better with time, though it probably never goes away. I just had an episode this morning, and it's been 13 months! The best thing to do is try something new. Something you've never done, anything to change your routine and to feel in control again.
