Sw3etdev1L
that is it I am having my honey moon in one month I've been taking four types of pills I take carbamazepine I don't know if that is the reason why everytime I take the pills, I start having two periods in a month it sucks I feel angry, sad, I have cramps, tiredness.. I feel awful I am gonna stop taking the pills, I tried enough. So , now.. my boyfriend wants to "feel" everything, and I feel pressured that I want him to be satisfied, he doesn't like condomns. Now what? I don't want to get pregnant but he dislikes condomns.. what can I say? We've done it withouth anything and before he cums, he gets out. BUUT, I feel tense doing it like that because we are not protected.. as I said before, I take carbamazepine, I cannot get pregnant now. What can i do?
Uloasion
Generally, I thought "the Pill" (combined oral contraceptive pill) helps control irregular menstrual cycles. It could be a combination of these four types of pills you're taking, but I don't see why you need so many. With a 92% success rate (worldwide typical rate, also a .3% failure with perfect use), you shouldn't need more pills. If you think you really need it, you could also use the Morning-After Pill (Plan B). This brings your chance of pregnancy to practically nil. Again, I don't see why you need four different pills. Hope this helps!
Balzac
Consider a Mirena IUD. Popular for Nulliparous women.
pink_sugar
You only need one type of BC pill...have some emergency contraception just in case. If you're using it correctly, it's 99% effective. Pulling out is only 75% effective...so basically you're odds are 1 in 4, which is pretty high. If he doesn't like condoms, stick with the pill.
RiverRunning
Spermicide is great - either just plain spermicide, the Today sponge, etc. I think you can also get cervical shields without a fitting...that's another option for you. The arm implant, the uterine implant. emergency contraception is also an option.

Go to your gynecologist and ask her/him what you should do about your birth control not working..none of us here can really diagnose that. But you can also use an IUD/female condom if your boyfriend doesn't want to use the regular one.
maybealone
You really ought to know why you are taking carbamazepine. And while you are taking it, it does mess with birth control pills. Talk to your doctor -- maybe you can take gabapentin instead and birth control pills. If not, look into IUDs or a diaphragm.
