CoB Posted October 6, 2012 Share Posted October 6, 2012 I'll try to keep this short, I work in a deli which servers alcohol and has video lottery terminals, there is a girl that has been coming into my store for probly a year here and there, she is 31, I am 25. I finally got her number 2 weeks ago when she gave it to one of my regulars that hangs out there and told him to make sure I got it. I didn't think she was interested, or I would have just gotten it myself. She works a lot, like a lot, probly 60-70 hours a week. We've been texting quite a bit the last 2 weeks, shes been saying things like I wish I was there with you etc right, so I'm thinking everything is going good. She went on vacation last weekend and while there told me she wanted to go to a HS football game this weekend, which was supposed to be tonight, because her niece was dancing in the halftime show. She then told me the next day her whole family was going to be there, which I thought was odd but whatever I said thats cool with me. Now, today I get a text saying shes hung up at work and is going to be late, which then turned into she was only going to be going to the halftime show and we could meet up there or afterwards. I told her to text me after she was done there. She texted me when she got there, and that she might have to go back into work (which has happened before I don't think she is lying about that, but then again you never know). So she asked me what I'm doing tomorrow, and wants to get coffee or lunch. Should I be concerned about this or just let it go and resume as normal???
