How to change "no appetite" problem when dating someone?

This could have gone in a few different places, but I chose here because it isn't a physical problem. I am hungry, my stomach growls... but I have lost my appetite since I started talking to/have begun dating this guy! I literally have to force myself to eat something, which is kinda uncomfortable. It's worse when I'm WITH him and I'm hungry, I look like I never eat or I'm wasteful.

 

Any advice? D: I really sorta NEED to eat, you know, to stay alive and all.

You don't have to force yourself to eat. If you can't eat - don't. But take some form of nutrition and sustenance through drink. have some milk, and take vitamins to supplement any imbalance to your system. Don't force 'hunger'. Eat when you could eat, don't when you can't.

Yes and maybe you could make yourself a large smoothie or something before you go out. You might try snacking on crackers too. You have a nervous stomach.

A human can survive without:

 

Food - 14 days

Fluids - 4 days

Air - 4 minutes.

 

Drink.

And get plenty of fresh air. :D

LOL! Now why did you include air there? :p Yeah, I just kept having more and more water. Right when I wake up its not as much of a problem- more at night or right after I've seen him. Exercise is helping too, to get my appetite back.

Have the new BF over at work up an appetite! :D

 

The more active I am the more I eat, I rarely eat 3 meals a day. And whenever I don't have an appetite, I won't eat. But, will consciously make sure I get something like juice/milk. I just go with how I feel and what I need, energy wise. IF you don't NEED it, then why eat it.. I don't know how skinny you are though. Nothing wrong with fasting for a few days at a time. I usually feel more energy that way, when I don't have all my blood constantly centered in my tummy helping with digestion.

 

Is this an extreme case?
