Neo
The girl I like is someone I am very close to. She listens to me, is trying to be totally honest, devoted, et cetera. She's generally fun to talk to as well but sometimes she has fits of irrational immaturity while trying to be funny (although I think this is the kind of immaturity that results from being shy or awkward). However, sometimes her sense of humor makes me want to just ram a toothbrush up her nose or something. At one moment I really think she's cool, but when she goes into this hyper "immature" mode I loathe her. I want to look past this because everything else is just fine, but I keep finding it more and more difficult to ignore. What can I do about it?
HokeyReligions
Try to figure out why she is this way -- is it shyness or something else? Once you understand why, figure out why it bothers you so much. Once you understand it may change how you feel about it. You may want to talk with her about it---gently. Is she a self-confident person? It may just be her own sense of humor is not compatible with yours. Humor is on the top of my priority list of make or break items. If it bothers you now and its not going away, then end the relationship.
