How much does cellulite bother men?

Recommended Posts

Hahaha... I'm not super skinny, in fact my weight can fluctuate quite a bit if i'm not careful.

I met a guy in Vietnam 2 years ago, at the time i was about 63kgs. (im 5'5) not ideal for me..

Now I am 58kg... much better. I have big hips and thighs and a butt like a black woman. My bum is not fit or firm and i have cellulite on my thighs and butt and have done for years... i would say it's my worst feature.

I sent him a video the other day, and he said "wow" you are looking really fit at the moment" .. I said.. well i think you met at my heaviest ever.

He replied... Well i hope you haven't lost that bum! It's the best damn ass in the world. ;)

So... just goes to show, Even though i hate that part of myself, He loves it. He's not the first to express an enthusiasm for it either.

(just as well really being a B cup ) hahaha!

^And stretch marks too. I saw another photo that highlighted that on her. And yet shes still gorgeous, and if anything this makes her seem like the rest of us.

Its amazing what photoshop, makeup, and photo shop do.

Honestly, I'd be surprised if I even see a moderately curvy woman that doesn't have any Trace of cellulite. I pay attention to women's bodies in the beach and most have it unless they are very slim.

mine is similar to this:

but the skin only, my body shape is entirely different

That body shape is ... nasty but the cellulite is not good but not completely terrible either.

I wouldn't probably date someone with it like that unless they were really legitimately curvy though.

Its so common that even if they don't like it , they have to accept it.

Nope, not really.

Yes really. 90+ percent of women have some kind of cellulite so most men will have to accept it. Even most celebs have it and they get hot men.

I certainly would not call that bad cellulite. If this is what your cellulite is like, don't sweat it, and don't take it to heart if any guy mentions it, unless he is making a fuss over it (and not to tease you), then you can get mad at him.

As to how much it bothers men, it depends on the man, and it depends on how much. For me, its not a big deal in its own right to be turned off, but when its like 'cottage cheese cellulite' & combined with the woman being over-weight, it starts to become a different story.

Seen my share of naked female bodies, in some cases far more than I wanted to, and can't say I paid much attention to cellulite. IMO, it's all part of being human.

I'm pretty sure no one would care if a girl has cellulite. I'm a guy and in my teens I developed stretch marks on my butt and shoulders from what I can tell they won't be going away, I also have really bumpy, rough, super dry skin (I have to lather myself down in lotions every day a few times a day as my skin seems to have no natural moisture at all if I don't my skin will crack open) as well so if I see a girl with cellulite I'm not going to care at all.

What's cottage cheese cellulite? I often hear it but not quite sure how it is different from that picture.

Try shea butter, cocunut oil, olive oil.

Look in your local market such as trader joes that sell salt rubs or make your own and make sure it has lavender and different oils.

Cream is some times not enough. Drink more water

Shea butter is alright but I still have to lather myself down every day, I don't like the feel of vaseline but it works the best, I believe I have a skin disease of some sort if I don't put lotion on every day or if I just get wet my skin dries super fast making it look cracked and extremely ashy. The extreme roughness and bumpiness of my skin can't be fixed with lotions though its just how it is, it was kind of funny my uncle shook my hand and said it felt like leather.

I used to be a bit self-conscious about the stretch marks thing but then I realized no one is going to ever see me naked so I don't worry about that anymore:D.

All women have cellulite. Google it sometime or look at your average supermarket tabloid and you'll see celebrities with perfect bodies who have cellulite. Despite what we have been conditioned to believe, all those photos of celebrities and models are airbrushed which is why we believe it, even Victoria's Secret Angels have it.

And no one likes it, but it's one of those hilarious things we have to deal with.

did a quick google image search on bad cellulite and there was not that many good examples surprisingly. I guess the photo on this site would be an example..

How to get rid of cellulite thighs

Its when it goes beyond dimples and the skin starts to get lumpy.

Vaseline is going to clog your pores. Try some oil. Cocunut oil and olive oil has worked wonders on my skin.

I would imagine that walking around in shorts with cellulite would not be a turn on........ cellulite that is only seen during sex, I doubt a guy would have a problem with. I don't know, when I wear shorts I look front, side, back, all over to make sure I don't have cellulite...I think I'd put on longer shorts or pants (and I live in the desert) if I had some at this point, I don't feel like I'm old enough for cellulite yet... Have never thought about it in bed though. God the more I read LS the more I wonder if I have a distorted opinion of bodies  (girls get cellulite at puberty?!) That photo of Scarlett Johanssen....I'd wear board shorts if that was me..... the tennis (?) player, that is so zoomed in and blurry, so no opinion.

If a girl is smoking hot and her ONLY fault is a little cellulite then no. Most men will not be majorly turned off, although they may notice it and think "oh". They would not think of it in a good way, or a bad way.

...If a girl is overweight and unnattractive on the other hand, then cellulite is an image that further celements the " gross" factor.

Most women have it. I had it when I was anorexic. But I think that was because I walked a whole lot, but did not lift weights or do running or serious cardio besides a lot of walking....

I will never get rid of mine. Even when I get down to 120 lbs again; I am very curvy and my fat just stores in a certain way, where cellulite is visible. nothing major though!

My boyfriend pointed it out once, and said it did not bother him much but it " was confusing how thin chicks have it". I was thin when we met:p

heck, my boyfriend has cellulite on his legs a little. I find it cute!

(girls get cellulite at puberty?!)

Some do, some don't. In my family, the women develop it in their teens regardless of their weight/size/lifestyle. I already had it on my thighs by the age of 13-14. It's when I stopped wearing shorts in public, thanks to some mean comments from family members about it.

I'm sorry they made comments. I have a niece who is 13 and she is a sturdy girl (she is not fat/overweight but solid), she wears tiny little shorts lol and doesn't have any, so perhaps it just doesn't run in my family.
