123321
How old are you? I'm mid-40s. Yes really. 90+ percent of women have some kind of cellulite so most men will have to accept it. Even most celebs have it and they get hot men. Most men can do what they like, I don't date women who have an ass like that. Ever. ? You do realize almost every post pubertal woman has some cellulite right? It just generally differs on how much. Youre right though...guys dont have to accept it. They can go gay xD You do what you like, I'm going with "none of the above" and stick with dating women I find attractive. "Some clinically detectable cellulite" and the picture that was linked are two very different things.
RogerWallace111
A little cellulite is completely fine with me. Considering how much of a fan of thick thighs & booties, a bit often comes with the territory... **** even good old Alexis Texas has some cottage cheesiness goin. And, yes, I prefer using "cottage cheese" to cellulite. I like cottage cheese. The word cellulite sounds nasty...
RogerWallace111
And yeah, it's true, most women have at least a tiny bit. Regardless of weight or body shape. Even relatively thin chicks'll get a little on the bottom of their cheeks. And yes, the ass in that photo is very off-putting for some reason. The cellulite I can handle but the shape is strange. I've dated women who, if you took both hands and squeezed around on their body would have visible cellulite, and that's sort of cute and OK for me, but the cottage cheese ass just standing there thing is nasty. It's just connective tissue inside the fat, and it can be greatly reduced by reducing fat and/or loosening the connective tissue that is causing the "dents".
RogerWallace111
yeah, more than a little could definitely be a turn off. my ex of several years had a tiny bit but I was still way more attracted to her body than the tight little yoga-practicing chick I've been hanging a bit with lately. but I just like my ladies a bit thicker, I've come to terms with that. RogerWallace111
goddamnit I miss her ass... I would give it several kisses right now. though i wouldn't take her back.
O'farrell
I like cellulite. The name grosses me out though. Lets be clear, it looks good on a curvy woman not a skinny one.

In that particular instance, the cellulite is a non issue, its the shape that I find less appealing.
JayL
cellulite is pretty common in women, and most have it I get self conscious about it sometimes and wonder if it really turns men off to see that kind of skin on my legs how big of a turn off is minimal to moderate cellulite? and how quick do guys notice? thanks! Never bothered me at all... You have to realize though that most people are ignorant and will get turned off just because you blinked at the time they weren't expecting you to. Be proud of yourself. GirlontheLam
Dunno what athletes you are talking about. Show me a female athlete who legit works out her legs...like soccer players. Doubt youll see much cellulite. Not every athlete works out there legs hard. Plus most athletes have lower body fat %...so theres less a chance to have much cellulite anyways. Cellulite is more genetic than anything else. Some people get it. Some don't. Even Victoria's Secret models and thin athletes have cellulite. http://www.withlovefay.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/kkurkova.jpg http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_LCVZWFAEodk/RrQddo55kmI/AAAAAAAAGic/QVfT4EAgOdQ/s400/maria+sharapova.bmp
GirlontheLam
Try shea butter, cocunut oil, olive oil. Look in your local market such as trader joes that sell salt rubs or make your own and make sure it has lavender and different oils. Cream is some times not enough. Drink more water Make your own scrub. Sugar + olive oil is cheap and effective. I use Eucerin. Currently adding jojoba oil as an experiment.
mesmerized
Im surprised by the amount of men in this thread that say it's a non issue to them. Cause lets face it, cellulite is ugly. I think It proves my theory of men being used to it due to how common it is

In fact, if you are super attracted enough to a girl, as I have been at one point, you actually start to like the cellulite, and other little quirks to her appearance that she may not appreciate nor other men.

So yeah I'm not embarrassed about them and still wear short shorts or skirts.

This. I think some think of it as settling and rail against it. But it's not settling to overlook someone's supposed physical flaws because you are "super attracted" and love that person. The quirks and "flaws" actually make that person more lovable. To the OP, I seriously wouldn't worry about it. Unless your partner is someone who is super obsessed with appearances where even super models would fail their criteria, you are perfect just as you are. And if you get naked with someone, I highly doubt that they will be focused on your cellulite. Anyone who makes rude comments about bodily imperfections in a highly negative way while in an intimate situation with their partner is not a loving person.

Good I know a lot of girls hate it, but guys really don't mind. I like it - it reminds me that I'm a human and so is she. I'm actually very weird like that, she could have perfect waist-hip ratio and big assets but if she has some cellulite and some stretch marks too, she's even sexier

It depends on the athlete and the sport. Cellulite is partly genetic. It can be minimized by having lower bodt fat percentage and working out your legs. Victorias secret models dont work out their legs usually. Hell the only model Ive heard of doing leg workouts like squats was Adriana Lima. And it greatly helped her look. I loved her legs. You obviously missed my last posts...because Sharapova is another tennis player. Tennis players will have more visible cellulite than soccer players because they dont need to have the same strong legs or endurance soccer players need. Serena Williams is a great example...a thick girl whos prolly got her share of cellulite. If she played soccer shed get owned because fat slows you down. So if she practiced enough, shed shed body fat, and if she worked out her legs too, both activities would reduce the appearance of cellulite. Someone can be done about it. Cardio to keep fat down, weights to firm and tone the legs, and water to give the skin nourishment and elasticity. The reason models have very visible cellulite sometimes is because they never workout their legs and some of them are def skinny-fat. Just because they look slim doesnt mean they couldnt stand to lose a percentage of body fat and/or do some leg training.

In fact, if you are super attracted enough to a girl, as I have been at one point, you actually start to like the cellulite, and other little quirks to her appearance that she may not appreciate nor other men. Yeah, I've definitely noticed that I do this with my partner. He has very protruding veins in his arms, because he is very lean and fairly strong for his size. It probably doesn't look good objectively, since male models all seem to have enough bulk to cover them, but I find it omfg-sexy. I think that most healthy people capable of love, are capable of looking past minor things like this. Of course, there is a reasonable limit for this, as there probably aren't too many people capable of finding a 500 lbs person sexy, but cellulite is something that the majority of people have in moderate amounts at some point of their lives.
Quiet Storm
I think genetics do have a lot to do with it. I have thick legs and a booty, so it's inevitable for me. To keep it minimal, I do a lot of lunges and squats. If you have strong thigh muscles underneath, it can go a long way towards smoothing out the cellulite. My mom uses some kind of caffeine gel to minimize hers.

Just because they look slim doesnt mean they couldnt stand to lose a percentage of body fat and/or do some leg training. My husband is a health freak and a gym freak. He is 6'1'', 215 lbs with mostly muscle and not very much body fat, though he wants to gain more muscle mass. He is eating more protein in order to bulk up more and lift more weights. He loves working out and when he told me that cellulite lessens with drinking lots of water and working out the muscles, I didn't believe him. However, he drags me to the gym at least 3 times a week and we have both seen that he is right!!! It is very cool and exciting, because I thought that I was just genetically imperfect. However, toning my body and eating better and drinking more water has radically changed my body in a good way. My husband loves my body and also is very pleased to see my shape toning and cellulite "disappearing." Even before I started working out, he loved my body. However, he bluntly told me it could be better and expects me to take care of and tone my body. I appreciate that about him because I do too, but I lacked the discipline and self-drive to make it happen. He helps me with that. I feel so much better when I do and I love to prance around him and show off to him the results. He loves that too. That does not change my genetics of course, but eating healthy, drinking enough water, and working out makes my shell to be the best shell of me it can naturally be!!! That in turn gives me more confidence in myself and helps me feel so much better on the inside! Edited October 11, 2012 by BetheButterfly

Yeah the more I think about it, if the girl is just generally cute as f*ck, a bit of it can be endearing to the point I don't think of it as a "flaw". I'm getting recurring images in my head of my ex and her round booty n thick thighs, graced with their subtle cottage cheese (again, **** that nasty clinical term), walking away in a thong... I'm smiling, yet could almost shed a tear
Quiet Storm
I think calling it cottage cheese is worse than the term cellulite! How about calling them "love dimples" or something like that?
RogerWallace111
Aw yeah thats cute, and I suppooose women might prefer that... Like I said though, I love cottage cheese (it's so high in protein, and mixes excellently w/ salsa and/or avocado), so it's actually a complimentary term the way I intend it
maryS
i think that good ass can't be without cellulite. Boys like something to hold..and they don't really care about cellulite. Except if there's too much cellulite..And cellulite has got 90% of womens!!! so I think this is completly natural.
