jen Posted November 7, 2000 Share Posted November 7, 2000 tony i added on somethings that have been troubling me as of late, could you please re-respond? i just need some advice so bad, i have the book from bradshaw and will start reading it tomorrow. i guess i need a quick fix until i get to counseling which isn't for a while yet. maybe i just need someone to talk to, i hurt so much from my own self and the pain i inflict on others, i can only imagine how others feel when i inflict my problems on them with my insecurities etc. thank you for your help tho, and if you can't dig from the bottom of the barrel for anymore advise that is o.k. i appreciate what you've said so far. thank you...........................jen Link to post Share on other sites
Tony T Posted November 7, 2000 Share Posted November 7, 2000 As I have previously indicated to you, there are no quick fixes. If you make a concerted effort to get yourself together, that may help. The healing process takes a very long time. It took you many years to even know the origin of your problems. They won't go away overnight. Sorry. I can't imagine that you feel you have absolutely no control over yourself. I understand that concept when it comes to addiction to drugs and alcohol, but not when it regards behavior.
