pie2
I can't speak for all universalists but from my own study I do believe Satan and the demons will be saved too. So my understanding is that everyone will bring glory to God....It means that as each person comes to a personal revelation of who God is and His overwhelming unconditional love for them then they will voluntarily bow their knee and confess. Each person will do this in their own time. Satan had a very personal revelation of who God is. He knew God, and made the choice to act on prideful rebellion; thus rejecting God's love. Satan doesn't seem to want to have anything to do with God. And I think that there are some souls out there now that, even if they were face-to-face with God, may still think that they could be more powerful on their own.
Author avon20
Eve as far as how my belief helps me in life? Well I can feel free to commit suicide and go to heaven early if this life gets too much for me. I don't have to feel that I am under any pressure from God to live on earth if I really don't want to. This life isn't for everyone and I can't imagine a loving God not honoring my wish to come home early if I get to a point where I feel that my life here has run its course.
