ukie-cutie
This is really quite embarrassing for me to admit, but I need the advice! . . I am 19 going on 20 this month, & I have always had stretch marks. Inwhich I'm sure most of us always have had. Well mine we're always a white, but a few months ago, a few new one's began to develop on my stomach. I never thought much of it until they started to turn a redish purple color, that's when I began to become quite a bit self-conscious. Now the ones that we're white on the side, are now turning red as well, so it seems like ever since I received these new ones on my tummy, the other ones are turning the same color. Does anyone no why?! . . It's embarrassing; I'm so young . . Yet I have these thick red lines on my tummy, & it makes me so self-conscious, as well it makes me feel incredibly ugly. I am scared when the man I meet who I have fallen for deeply who lives in a different country, comes down here, & we become intimate. And he see's that! . . He will take one look at them, be disgusted & walk away. Just everyday I look in the mirror, & I feel more & more ugly. A lot of girls my age, don't have them like I do. I'm a well proportioned girl, I am a little chubby, but . . I never thought this would happen! . . I as well am dieting right now, have just started! I have used vitamin e lotions, but I don't feel they are helping. If anyone has any type of advice it would be so very much appreciated! . .
uriel
Stretch marks are caused by tissue stress in the lower layers of skin. They can't be fixed -- so don't waste your money on cocoa butter or creams. Exercise can help to avoid them -- that and avoiding sudden weight gain (which is their cause). They appear reddish when new and whiteish pink when old. Some men are picky about their women having no flaws. Most don't really care about them, I've found. Don't worry about it. If a man loves and wants you, he's interested in the whole package. For many men, stretch marks don't detract much or at all from the parts in which they do ahve a more active interest. -- uriel
