lookingforyou
I was talking to this guy when I gave a smile (I can't even remember what I was smiling about now ), when I noticed that his face slowly moved to a small smile/grin. It was a very slow speed. At the same time that he did that, his gaze dropped to look at my mouth/smile. It was like my smile caused him to think (or not thinking, in men's world) of something that he liked. The face language was all subtle but I tend to pick up on all these. I just don't really know how to interpret them. Does anyone know how to read into what I just described?
Author lookingforyou
Are you serious?! Come on.. this is almost frustrating. you have the sense to see such a detail in real-time but not enough to translate it?! Here's a question.. how did that make YOU feel, when you notice him smiling subtly?! Like I said, I picked up on things. But I can't tell for sure since I don't know him well. It surprised me but it felt good. But don't smiles make people feel good anyway? So, what's the translation?
sweetkiwi
maybe he was happy you were smiling..... I smile all the time. And i laugh all the time. He was checking out your teeth lips smile. So man up and do something about it if you like him. If not, why do you care.

Not about whether I should man up and do something or whether I like this guy.
Author lookingforyou
yeah, smiles are great.. they can diffuse the meanest people immediately. but when it's a man and woman having an isolated conversation, chances are it means something a little more. there's your answer. If you want additional information, a quick google search will fruit many references and resources for basic interpretation of body language.. Youtube also has loads of videos too, which might be easier because you'll be able to see examples. Kiwi.. hurry up and make more posts. I think it's the "face move" drawing the smile that I'm interested to know about. Not the smile per se. He didn't just smile but it was a slow, involuntary smile. He probably didn't even know he smiled.
Author lookingforyou
So he likes me? Anyone?
xdahliax
I wouldn't think anything of it. If he really likes you, you'll know sooner or later. He'll go out of his way for you, ask you out, etc. This is not enough to go on. All this overanalyzing will just allow you to build a fantasy in your head and then be disappointed when you find out he has no interest.
ThaWholigan
So he likes me? Anyone? He might have wanted to kiss you hence he drew his eyes towards your lips when smiling, but that's about the most you could get out of that.

Author lookingforyou
In my experienced opinion, I took it as he was happy to see you happy-smiling. the slow grin could be a multitude of things, but I think the speed at he smiled would indicate his sincerity. Are you referring to his slow speed or in general? Does a slow or fast smile show more sincerity? So he smiled while looking at your lips?....well alrighty then, I know what he was thinking -- wink, wink.lol What was he thiniking? Pray tell.
