Ironvein Posted November 20, 2012 Share Posted November 20, 2012 Recently i have felt lost at what to do. The guys at my girlfriend's school are jerks. I might be generalizing, but i don't care. The thing is, they target her with sexual jokes all the time. Even if they are just jokes, they are offensive. And i hate it. I am getting sick of it, and feeling powerless. She said she will ignore it, and while i think that's the most mature and intelligent way to go, and am proud of her, i am getting sick of them. They CAN'T just get away with it. And then i am told to take it as a joke. And how am i supposed to do that? No one has any idea how bad i feel. I can't just be told to think of it as a joke. I WANT justice. What should i do? This whole situation is just very unbearable. I am controlling my anger and the need to swear. I just want them to stop. I have always been the mellow one, but i don't see the point anymore. Thank you for the helpful answer, and not telling me off for my bout of anger... I totally agree that what those guys do is sexual harassment, and that is NOT okay in any way, shape or form.
