This guy went away on vaction but before he left he told me he liked me. Then he came back on mon and e-mailed me, saying he'll call tuesday. Then he e-mailed saying he was too tired. So it's wed. and no call. This morning i get an e-mailing saying he couldn't get the phone last night (he lives with four people) and he'd call today if i would be home. Well i said i would and no call. he is gone from 5-8 to practice. is he shafting me or should i give him the benefit of the doubt?

i think you should just leave it alone and not call him, becuase if he is interested he will find a way to get in touch with you.

I think your fellow is in the minus already. Surely you want him to be more interested in you than what he is showing you. Wait until he does call you and see how the conversation goes. Remember not to seem too anxious though. YOu know what they say about guys feeling smothered if a woman likes them too much at the beginning. It scares them. I think you can probably do better than this. If he says he likes you and is like this before you are officially together, what might he be like once you are together. Time will tell. Keep your options open I say. If however, your conversation with him turns out to be great and you find that his behavior is redeemed then go for it baby!!
