Shohane
What are your thoughts about this lady-killer - the master of seduction - Giacomo Casanova? Reading about him intrigues me a great deal! While I'm not surprised about how he could get any woman he wanted, I'm wondering about: 1/ Why did he break up with those women if he loved women so much? (I believe that he really loved women because he was very afraid of hurting women; to some extent, he did care about their feelings... That's how he could get them into deep love with him in the first place). 2/ How could he break up with them and NOT hurting them? 3/ Do you consider Casanova a commitment phobe? Or someone with borderline disorder? Do you think he wanted women's attentions to fill the void -- because he didn't get enough love from parents?
