why do we return theirs calls!!!!!!!!!!! Help me out???Thanks

Im sure everybody who is on this site cna asked themselves this very same questions. We know the answers but why do we do it. Why do we call our exes back when they call us? I did the other night Friday when she called me. i called her back a couple hours later and we talked for almost and hour and a half. It was great, we fell into our great talks that we used to have. This was Friday and now Tuesday I feel like crap. Sure she called me and obviously wanted to talk to me via phone or he could have just texted me, but the problem is now I want to call her. Im sure if i did she would pick up the phone and we would talk but i know thats going to get me nowhere. God how i wish i would have not returned her calls. The problem is she leaves such nice messages and it just kills me to think of ignoring her. Man I hate this stuff so much!!!! Today would have been a 1 year for us if we were together and she talked about this date for so long. Now Im just working, kinda depressing.

 

If i can give anyone some advice is that think long and hard before returning there phone calls. Do it if you want to and you feel in your heart it is right. Trust me though, when the days pass and yoru phone doesnt ring with there name on it, it begins to hurt all over again. My ex has been the one contacting me and I have been doing NC(doing good at it). Everybody talks about NC and there ex will call, but its not always so great!!!! Take Care......Kodiak

I guess if we were really ready to let completely go, we would change to unlisted phone numbers. Sighs

That is true!!! We could change our number or simply not pick up the phone when they call, thats just a lack of will power. Or we could just tell them thats its too tough to speak just as firends and that you need to recover from the break up 100% before you can talk as firends. Any other ideas on this topic!!!! I like to see how people think regarding there reasons on this subject.
