Human believers to be higher than angels at resurrection?

The Bible makes it clear that believers in Christ, once resurrected at Christ's return, will actually inherit a status which is HIGHER than the angels. I am simply blown away every time I consider this.

 

"Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!" (1 Corinthians 6)

 

When will this happen? When Christ returns and brings us to himself, transforming us from our corrupted bodies into incorruptible, eternal bodies.

 

It is written...

 

"For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God." (Romans 8:19)

 

What is going to be revealed? The thing which is, currently, partly hidden. Namely, that believers who have been reborn by the Spirit directly from the Lord, are walking around as new creations--though they appear as the same human. But that's why it says that creation waits with eager longing for the "revealing of the sons of God".

I'm actually the ONLY one who proposes that only angels of the Lord can appear physically in MODERN times. Why does everyone always think I'm a cultist fallen angel freak? I just happen to be a expert on Genesis 6. Doesn't mean that I think everything is demonic.

I was just trying to understand the statement. Because, in my mind, I would prefer to think that, once in heaven, we wouldn't have to think in terms of hierarchy, but rather we would have the ability to co-exist equally, in love and worship.
