tinkstwin
If I went to the doctors and asked them if I could go on birth control pills in order to gain wieght, would they let me? I would ask for a brand with a high dose of hormones too...
badidea
I don't think the doctor would think that is a legitimate reason for going on birth control. Plus, studies have shown that people who are not on birth control are just as likely to gain weight than those who go on birth control. Much of the weight people gain on birth control is just water weight that eventually goes away. When I went on birth control, I did not gain any weight. I have probably lost 15 pounds since then (due to diet, not the pills). However, you do not really need a reason to go on birth control. You can just tell your doctor you want to go on the pill, and they will probably assume its just to prevent you from being pregnant.
Leikela
I've never heard of people going on birth control for the sole purpose of gaining weight. Not everyone that goes on the pill gains weight. It really depends on your body make-up and what you're predisposed to. I gained weight when I went on a high dose of hormones but I have friends who didn't. Why don't you try drinking those energy drinks that have a lot of calories in it? They sell them at GNC and places like that. The more calories you take in, you more weight you'll gain. Also, talk to your Dr. about wanting to gain weight. I am sure he/she can help you.
Pocky
Why out of all the other options did you elect birth control to increase weight gain?
