Nyla
Going away for a night or two is a great way to regnite the spark in a marriage. If the marriage is already hot, then taking a minibreak will increase the passion even more and make enjoyable memories. When my husband and I spend time away from the city, I try to bring some sexy bedroom outfits along and we do not answer calls from anyone. We also make a special effort not to bicker about silly things or talk about unhappy subjects. It's all positive energy and love. The trip need not be expensive. Even renting a hotel room near your home can work wonders. If a hotel is not affordable, dates add some romance as well. The point is that getting away for a short period of time is wonderful. We'll be in Niagara Falls for the two days before Christmas. I love the beautiful Christmas light displays, the falls and the hot tub at the hotel. We try to find decent hotels for good prices; I found an even nicer yet less expensive place to stay when I combed TripAdvisor last night Wooo hoo! So excited! We like to visit small towns in the country, so we can enjoy some peace and quiet and the slower pace of life in rural areas. Where do you like to go with your spouse or partner?

Doneinne
We love mini vacations too. We love camping. A nice 3 or 4 day trip to a camp ground. We also like going downtown to the "happening" area and stay in a hotel. There's bars, restaurants, horse drawn carriages and walks in the park. Mini vacations can really cleanse the soul without breaking the wallet.
oldshirt
Not one answer? I guess people only like posting about unhappy topics. It's not so much that people only like posting on unhappy topics, it's just that this is kind of a no-brainer and something everyone already believes in. It's kind of like making a post that smoking is bad. There just isn't much to come back with.
