mesmerized
FYI I have a date with a 6'6" bald guy on Friday. I figure height makes up for the baldness. *runs and hides*. I like that you're honest.
Vercetti
Patrick Stewart Peter Murphy Jason Statham . Vin Diesel Telly Savalas Yul Brynner Bruce Willis Sean Connery Michael Jordan Samuel L. Jackson I think reality is closer to insecure baby crying about his hairline = 3 negative attractive points. Men are more caught up on their hair then women are. When was younger sported crow hair and inverted bobs, over the years got shorter and shorter styles, currently have a buzzed salt&pepper widows peak. Ive gotten ONE negative comment on my hair and that was from a ex giving a back handed complement twenty years after the fact. Circle of women in my life seem to like my current look over the old, so much so that if I had to do it again would have skipped the long hair phase completely. Before some guy cries those above men are rich and famous blah blah blah come back to earth. The majority of women have ZERO chance being with one of those rich famous guys but they would sure love to be with a man that sparks a similar fantasy. I like gothy romantic artistic theatrical women...does that mean that every girl that doesn't dress like a funeral, play a instrument, draws, recites Shakespeare is going to face a lifetime of rejection in dating? With all the lifestyles and sub-cultures out there a receding hairline is the last thing a guy should be worried about...if one door closes another opens. Beyond that I'm simply amazed at the amount of men that will invent reasons for women to reject them. Work what god gave you and STFU.

sweetkiwi
I agree completely with vercetti. Men can just shave their head and they still look good. I even find bald heads sexy. But one thing that isn't sexy is a man obsessed with his hairline (i dated a guy like this, very annoying). Also the prescription drugs used to regrow hair makes most men impotent. Bald + functioning penis> barely thinning + impotent
phineas
Own the baldness. i'm bald on the back of my head & not only is the rest of my hair thinning, but i'm balder & thinner on one side so it isn't even...well even. LOL! But, i'll be 41 and can get it up 2 to 3 times in an evening so i doubt the women I've been with cared I didn't have a full head of hair. I've been contemplating on just shaving it but the lady who cuts my hair only recently let me go with the #3 clippers all the way around. I trust her. She hasn't led me astray so far.
Feelin Frisky
Balding is the ultimate looks destroyer for men. Women dislike bald men unless you are Jason Statham with maxed out MS. Women don't suffer from balding. Why isn't balding seen as masculine and attractive in dating?. You're male. What do you know about it? Unless you're ghey, women call the shots on this.
Imported
I like shaving my head down to an 1/8th of an inch every now and again. This does not hide baldness or greying, it really points to not balding, not greying. It is so short, you can't hide anything, but there is still enough there that if there was any part that wasn't a full head of hair compared to the rest, it is easily spotted. I usually let it grow out to 1/2 inch and decide what to do again after that. Sometimes I let the top get longer and have a salon fade/taper/blend the sides. Regardless, it's always short to very short and clean cut looking. Been waiting for my hair to start greying for a long time now. Most guys half my age are already greyed out or dead hair looking. Mine is still the same color and healthy looking, few grey strands here and there, but nothing major. Not sure if that's from always having it cut short or being mixed race. phineas
Seriously man, another thread about a mans looks? Do you have nothing else to spending your time on? This. On the one hand it's getting really sad. On the other hand, he makes the forum interesting.
sweetkiwi
I like older men. Even my first boyfriend was grey at 17. Im talking 35-50% grey. Most women i know LIKE grey hair unless the man is older than your grandfather. And even then.....depends how old the lady is. These are non issues in my book. I probably am much MORE attracted to grey hair. Especially on men 26-36.
Radu
SK, the reason that prescription drug messes with potency is because it messes with the bloodstream. It has also been linked with increased heart problems. Vercetti, Yul Brenner ??? I like the guy [a lot], but i doubt many here would know of the guy.

Exactly so a healthy bald man is waaaaay better than a bald man on drugs that are slowly killing him and not helping at all with the baldness. My ex was obsessed with his thinning hair. He spent a lot of money on rogaine and a laser comb and finally drugs. The drugs completely killed his sex drive. He switched to half a pill and his impotence went away but he wasn't happy with the results on his hair.
edgygirl
Not usually attracted to bald men but men with gray hair are sexy. Does that implant treatment Bosley-like works and looks natural? If I were a balding man trying to attract women I'd do that. http://www.bosley.com/results/interactive_gallery.php On the other hand, there are theories that they are better in bed and from my experience they do seem more virile Testosterone levels, I hear. IT Geek
Damn, I hope I never go bald. I'll be at 0 or -1 on the looks scale then!

If you get that, you are stuck to one hairstyle ... and you have to actually use 'products' for your hair. Much easier to just use soap.

In the TV commercial, they say the implanted part grows as real hair, I believe.
Radu
Oh, you might be right. But still, no hair requires less maintenance than hair. Simple math, you can save a bundle in time and money. And to look like Yul Brenner.
Divasu
If you're losing your hair early, shave it down thin to a buzz cut. It looks good.
ThaWholigan
yul brenner was not that good looking. Freddie ljundberg is one of the rare examples of a good looking bald guy. Though I think part of his looks may be attributed to the fact that there is still some hair on his forehead, framing the rest of his features and his skull shape is 1/1000. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_eosGkndaIFM/TEXEa89JlII/AAAAAAAAN9o/EHeYK8vigcI/s1600/Freddie_Ljungberg_face.JPG http://photos1.blogger.com/img/105/5037/1024/freddie-ljungberg-puma04.jpg Freddie = Arsenal Legend
