IcedEarth
The inane reporting and mindless bullcrap my higher ups are beginning to push on me is driving me to insanity, I may be in an institution soon. They seriously have me re-reporting things in a different format than they've already received. Why? Because they're too cheap to give me a better, computerized system that would make inventory and sales reports automatic. I swear, people watch Office Space (one of my favorites) and say "Hey, that's how we should do things!" because it goes way too far. If I was in an IT job I'd be doing TPS reports about TPS reports for crying out loud. Also, when your direct boss is technologically inept and he's filtering what the corporate bigwigs want, it becomes nothing short of maddening. I'm sure other people have stories like this.
Nyla
*hug* The monotony of call centre work is what pushed me to return to college. Are you at least being paid well for the nonsense?
