Million.to.1
I think it's like anything. You get out what you put in.
TouchedByViolet
I would say relationships are life's best reward because they encompass so much. We have relationships with every single person in our lives. Think your family, your friends, coworkers, peers, and even pets. Just everywhere there are these people who you interact with. I hope the ones closest to you have a positive impact because that can matter the most. Sex is one of those things that's value increases when you don't have it. People that have an excess supply can't understand the lack of sex like others feel. Careers are probably the second most rewarding thing after relationships IME.
Forever Learning
Do you think it's the best reward in life? So far, in my experience, having my kids has been my life's greatest reward. And learning to find inner peace. I have come a very way with all that (inner peace, and self love) but still have my life's journey to go! Right now, I can do without sex pretty good (thanks to the anti-depressant I am taking) which is actually a real blessing for me. And since I was in a terrible relationship in the past, being single is extremely awesome as well right now. Everything depends on past experiences, shaping our current outlooks, doesn't it? I get great joy out of helping others who are suffering, however I can. That is a big reward for me as well. Cheers Ross!!
somedude81
A person who has gone a long time without sex, or hasn't had any at all, thinks about it in the same way that a homeless person would think about a hot meal.
mn311601
Reward for what? Does that mean people who never experience sex or relationships did something wrong in a past life? What are you getting rewarded for?
Pyro
The best reward in life is what you want it to be. Some think that making lots of money is and others will think that finding love and starting a family is, while others will have other ideas.
Eclypse
In my opinion love and the relationships and sex that are a part of it are the most important part of life. You can have all the fast cars, mansions and yachts in the world but its all empty and hollow without love. Those things are great to have, but it would be nothing without love. It's what makes getting up in the morning worth really.
Els
A relationship is, for me. Sex comes with it and is great, but I wouldn't rate it as highly. I think the key here, though, is that: 1) Different people are different, and I think we all attribute priority to different things in life. LS is likely to have more relationship-and-sex-focused people, by the sheer nature of the board. 2) People often make the mistake of tunnel-visioning that which they want the most. I don't think that there is any one thing in life that will make you happy if you tunnel-vision it, because everything else will just crumble apart and finally that one thing will crumble too under the pressure. That's my main issue, always worrying, always dreading, always stressing.
HeavenOrHell
A happy r/ship is one of the best things you can have in life, IMO, but I also need to do worthwhile/fulfilling work. Do you think it's the best reward in life?
sweetkiwi
I dunno, I was drunk when I made the topic. You're a drunk poster For me I think that my future children/family will be my biggest reward. Raising my children to be open minded loving people. And hopefully I will meet a wonderful man to be my partner in this life. Bu as far as relationships themselves, no. The prior ones served to teach me about myself and to teach me what I do NOT want as much as what I DO want. And sex is the same. I enjoy it very much but its only fulfilling when your man loves you can you love him.
