I'm in my early 30s and really want to start a family but my boyfriend tells me his not ready. We have this conversation each year and he always says the same. I'm not ready this year. I'm at a crossroad cause I'm ready and feel confused and unsure if he will ever be ready. He has also said he isn't sure if he will ever want kids. I mean, if he doesn't ever want to have kids, that's fine, but you clearly do want them and it doesn't seem fair that he won't state an opinion either way. He should just be honest with himself and you, and if your goals don't line up, then it's time to separate. I don't mean to be insensitive, but at this point in your life, if you want biological children, you need to start seriously planning for them.
