Does No Contact work on a short term relationship if you want her back?

Odd thing for me, my ex wanted the relationship. He had crush on me for five months, but I didn't feel same...so we remained friends till I somehow got feelings for him. So when he admitted second time he still loved me, I confessed so our friendship turned into a relationship. You'd think a start like this would result in a relationship that last longer then a year.

 

Or atleast you'd think he would tell me that he was falling out of love with me...why lead me on two months? Still teaching me swedish, buying airplane ticket, and saying he loves me... I can't think of anything happened in October for him to fall out of love with me, yes we did have a major fight in last of november.... But he never expresses his feelings/toughts so did he just boil it all up?

 

Every night before I go to bed I pray to myself (and I don't believe in god) that his feelings return too him...

We always had mmo games that kept us together, but in october I went to a mmo game he disliked... So he wasn't playing, and I was 4 evenings in week.

Do you believe I neglected him?

he was out of town for the holidays. and plus when he broke up with me i had asked him that we not talk until he got back. and that when he does he can give me a call and then i would let him know if i was able to be friends with him or not. or if he wanted to get back together. told him if you dont call i get the point. Its been a week since he got back and no call so yeah

 

I didnt wanna reply to keep a conversation going. I wanted him to know that im strong and good without him
