Yes...it's called "dating".

sighs... I meant by saying stuff or doing stuff and watching how the girl handles it.

No doubt some men do, meaning purposely provide emotional/psychological testing stimulus, whether it be by deed or word. Some may do it completely incidentally; this is the unintended test aka 'oops'.

I never did. I might have avoided some unpleasant situations had I done so, but it's not my style. I'm more 'go with the flow' and see where things naturally go. YMMV.

I think stuff just happens during the course of getting to know someone that tells me whether or not they're long term material. Sometimes at the worst possible time where they say or do something that you can't unknow. You either have to accept it and mosey right along or move on to someone else.

Many a time has a girl said something or did something and behind my "oh...cool...haha" fake smile, I'm saying to myself "F***! I can't see her anymore :("

Yes they do and they size you up pretty quickly...a guy knows fairly soon if you are long-term material or just short-term...but you won't know unless you communicate or ask questions, because his behavior doesn't necessarily have to change, especially if he's already determined you're just something for the short-term...which is the majority of the time for men obviously.

If you just go based off your feelings and how you think things are going using your own girly judgments, and not how the guy acts, treats you and shows you he has strong feelings for you...If you've got to just chase him for his affection, attention, time...force him into being with you because he won't do it on his own then it's obvious he's not that into it and rather spend his time elsewhere or with someone else.

If he's just saying stupid crap just to see how you react and using things against you then he's just looking for a reason not to be with you...for himself.

Otherwise he needs to get to know you and more about you to determine who you are and what kind of girl you are, it may drastically affect his perspective of you.

yes. actually, most of their lives)

it is ok to have a material relationship since girls pay with the time they make themselves pretty, etc. we do pay, but smt not with money :)

Oh, I see, so after I buy the house when we marry you will buy the tummy-tuck, boob-job, & lipo for yourself because... well, that how women pay according to you. :)

If you're buying a house for someone who needs that much work, you probably should start "testing" a bit more before you sign a deed. :D

I am inclined to agree that "staying pretty" isn't exactly an even trade for a commitment, however.

Nothing too objective or devious. I don't know what other guys do but it's assumed on my part that I'm always thinking that way. Not "testing" but wondering and taking note of the obvious.
